I was a preteen when this was first released and it hit the top 10 on the singles chart where I'm from (Canada). Our music TV stations played it a lot, and we also had BET as a channel, so I would see the video on there as well. Been a fan ever since. I hope she'll get her flowers one day because her artistry is badass and I fully agree with you, these new girls could learn a thing or two. Please react to her latest single, "Midnight Snacks."
