Hi Jen! Always enjoy your videos. I actually watched an old video this morning of your refrigerator tour. Would love if you'd do an updated fridge tour and also I so miss your baking and Don's cooking videos! Please consider doing more of those. I miss you showing your tea choices and your little snack with it. I am also very particular about lotions and their scents as well as the way they feel on the skin. You should try Dr Teals lotion. I'm using the coconut scent right now and it's honestly my very favorite lotion ever. Works beautifully. Makes my hands look and feel 10 years younger lol.

I LOVE the Alba lotion and went through that huge size too! I first bought it when I was about to have myfirst child because I wanted a safe lotion for when she rested on my skin. I've repurchases it a couple more times since then. I'm so glad I found your channel today, you seem like such a sweet person 🙂

Jen, oil really doesn’t leave a residue if you put it on while you’re still wet - like right after you turn the shower water off. And it absorbs amazingly that way too! Then hop out, pat yourself off lightly and apply your lotion :)

I have been using the Origins Ginger body souffle and even my husband commented on how no e the bathroom smelt after I had been applying it! Also the drink it up intensive overnight mask and rose clay firming mask by Origins which together make my skin feel amazing!

I wanted so badly to love the drunk elephant products so I bought the Littles set. But I found I was getting tons of blackheads. Back to drugstore products and within a week my skin looks so much better. May try to add some of them back in slowly.

Something that I highly recommend to you to try makeup wise is Colourpop. They have amazing products and they're super affordable. You order online and I've never been disappointed. The shadows are super buttery and beautiful the concealer is awesome , I have so many of their palettes lol. I think you would love it honestly. I hope you're doing well.

Love seeing your empties videos. One thing I have added and love is straight up almond oil ( cosmetic area at Whole Foods.) I use it to enrich hand and food creams. Especially good on my nails when I don't have polish on. There's likely lots of other uses, but this is what I have found amazing.

Laurie Vera the newer Clarisonic teams the usage and tells you. For your B.B. you can write date on the plastic container you store it in.

Generally I go by product recommendations - Clarisonic says every 3 months, mascara and eye liner generally have a 3 month shelf life, the beauty blender just when it starts to deteriorate. It's really personal preference!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that completely dislikes Soap and Glory's original scent. I can use up most anything, but had to give away the Hand Food after 2 uses. You've got me intrigued with the KVD eyeliner, because you say it's so easy to use and I am a liquid liner failure, lol. Hope you're feeling ok, get some naps in before baby boy Ross arrives.

I’ve been using and loving that alba lotion for a few years now - such a good deal :)! Next time you go to target see if they have it there, it’s probably a bit cheaper than WF and that’s where I’ve always picked it up :). Also love the nut tree body butter but only in the mango scent :D and rarely use it.. nice after shaving :). I hate the soap and glory scent as well! Such a bummer because I hear they have great stuff :/. Got a sample starter pack of most of the drunk elephant products and excited to try them once I finish my current products up. Have you tried anything by Sunday Riley before? I started using their Luna sleeping oil and really like it (scent is a little weird at first though). Take care :)!

You should try organic coconut oil. It does NOT smell like coconut, it has no fragrance. Place a tiny bit in your hand and let it melt, then apply to skin. You skin will look and feel great.

i'm the same. i can't stand the way it makes my skin feel. i don't want greasy feeling yuck on my skin. i don't want to smell like anything. coconut oil dries my skin out like crazy. i can do a little almond oil on dry spots if i put it on an hour before i get dressed in the morning and don't sit or touch anything...which is awful. the in shower rinse off moisturizer is okay too but i don't like putting it on. it feels like slathering myself with mayo or something. yuck!

Jen, you might really enjoy Smoothie Star by soap and glory. It reminds me a lot of my favorite (discontinued 😒) Laura mercier scent creme de pistache. Much lighter than their original scent

I love Drunk elephant products too. My hair looks just like your hair Jennifer. I have a lot of hair, but mine is fine. I use to use Pureology, but I tried the Kenra shampoo & it’s wonderful. You should give it a try sometime.

I was eyeing the alba body lotion that you mentioned and finally bought it via vitacost and love. It's something the whole family can use. If you are still looking for a foot cream...it would suggest the dessert essence organics ( I purchased through vitacost.com) perfect pistachio foot repair cream. It has a scent but I find that it kind of fades as you rub it in. I too have dry feet and I it has really helped.

Some say it is not good to use certain essential oils at the beginning of pregnancy because they may be detrimental to the neuronal development of the embryo/foetus. Almond oil is safe. Need to dig into this information more.

I have been using ACV (Braggs )for a couple years now. I put about a tablespoon in with some water (any temp. you like) and drink before dinner. It helps with digestion not to mention cholesterol. You need to mix it in with water so you don't damage your enamel. It is a little strong at first, but you do get use to it. Give it a try.

You might check out Andalou Naturals Age Defying Line (in the blue bottle). It is an argan stem cell shampoo and conditioner for thinning hair. I don't have thinning hair, but I do have fine hair. I like how my hair responds to the products. I am not a huge fan of the smell, but it doesn't linger all day. I believe Aveda has a line for thinning hair. I haven't checked it out yet, but I have heard some people say they like it.

Not a shampoo suggestion, but have you tried flaxseeds? I know that may sound really odd, but eating them has been shown to help hair growth. I know it works for me....unfortunately. I say that because I’m a short pixie wearer, and my hair grows so fast when I’m eating them every day. I buy the Bobs Red Mill whole raw flaxseed in the bag, typically found in the flour isle. I either add a TBSP to my oat pancake batter when I blend it up (I eat gluten-free so I make 1/3 cup oats, 2 whole eggs, 1 banana or 112g of apple sauce, splash of oil, 1TBSP flax, pancakes. Just dump everything into a blender.), 3 TBSP to a smoothie, or just sprinkle 1 TBSP on oatmeal or cereal. I had a fresh pixie cut, only 2” on top, and faded in the back. In ONE week the top had grown over an inch, and the fade at least .25 to .50 and inch. It never grew that quickly before. It wasn’t just length, it seemed thicker. You can also get topical flaxseed treatments. But I prefer eating them so my whole body gets in on the nutrition.
