I highly recommend going to a dedicated running store and being professionally fitted for shoes that suit your body and gait specifically. It makes a world of difference!

i buy vitamin E sticks. they come in a tube similar to chap stick. everytime i blow my nose i whip out my vitamin E stick. its non greasy and fast absorbing. keeps your nose and the area around it nice and moisturized, so you never will be rudolph again. xoxo

Have you tried the boogie wipes as tissue!? They are for kids but I use them when my nose gets rough.

The Puffs plus lotion are a huge lifesaver. I love the Puffsplus with Vick’s as well. I was sick during the end of my second pregnancy as well. I hope you start to feel better soon!

With the cold the country is experiencing, I think many people are sick! This was the PERFECT beauty favorite! I, too, have spent two weeks blowing my nose and applying product to my chapped, cracked skin. I will be going for the Ointment now! Feel better soon :)

vasaline works very really well for putting around your nose and on your cupids bow to help for sore nose/cold

I find that handkerchiefs (fabric ones I mean) irritate my nose way less than tissues! I have about a dozen and I just chuck them in the wash when I’m done using them. They are so much gentler on my skin and they’re good for the environment too :)

I love Boggs boots for kids. My 5 almost 6 year old wears them and I try to buy black or navy so that I can pass them down through my kids. I have them now in size 5 to 11! :) I love them. Definitely warm enough for a Michigan Winter! And, BONUS, all the kids can put them on alone.

Love the toddler boots! Any recommendations for warm kids scarves? It’s so cold!! All the scarves I see are more novelty and not warm.

Scarves are tough to find for toddlers - I got CC a fizzy Minnie Mouse one at Gap in the fall that velcroes instead of wrapping around the neck.

I use Carmen around my nose. The menthol helps to clear the nose as well as keeping the skin soft.

Fyi Aquafor cream was great as a diaper rash cream/Bum protection cream to prevent diaper rash. Using it on our baby and loving it

I love the Puffs Plus Lotion. It is definitely a must when we are not feeling well. Any other time I just pick up the Kirkland brand tissues at Costco.

I, too, swear by the Puffs Plus with Vicks (your forgot to mention that IMPORTANT part)! We purchase them by the case (on Amazon) and then I make care packages for friends where I include a box of tissues along with a package of cough drops and a simple chap stick.

i agree michalaks vlogs are amazing! Steph must spend hours upon hours editing. i havent found another vlog even close to his quality of work. even if the content isnt particuarly interesting i still watch because they are really a work of art...and the kids re adorable!

Neti pot. It helps so much with the stuffy nose.

My dr actually said not to use it when my sinuses were completely plugged as it could lead to liquid in the ears, but certainly neti is great when you just have congestion.

I tend to start the neti pot before my congestion gets completely plugged - often at the first sign of a cold when that sore throat commences. For me, neti not only relieves the cold symptoms but also lessens the duration. In any event, you are doing the right thing by checking with your doctor before any intervention; that is truly being smart about your health during pregnancy. Hope you feel better soon. Rest is the best medicine of all!

have you tried aromatherapy to help reduce congestion? I diffuse oregano, peppermint, eucalyptus and lemon essential oils to help clean the air and avoid getting sick. I use other blends as well.

Great favs! Have you checked out the Gardner Squad here on You Tube? I just found them. They had an 8 year struggle with infertility and had to try IVF. 2 eggs were implanted and took. Both eggs split so 2 sets of identical twins. 4 girls! Their story is awesome! They even appeared in some episodes on a series on TLC and the Ellen Degeneres show. You would love following them. Such an awesome family & such positive parents! Girls are precious!

Please don't be so hard on yourself, just because you feel terrible doesn't mean you aren't beautiful! Please talk to someone about being so sad, it's worrisome to see someone feel the way I did as a pregnant person. Maybe try to pamper yourself one day a week if you can get someone to take your two year-old. Manicure and pedicure (especially feet) since we know we can't reach them anymore, maybe a maternity massage if you can swing it. In the very least a bubble bath and be careful getting out. The second pregnancy can be really rough as you get older (I mean 30's older not old older). Please give yourself more credit for what you've accomplished under these circumstances. Lots of love even though I don't know you.💕💌 I'll also try to send you a link that has been soothing to go to sleep to.
