I understand being excited about sunlight. My husband and I lived in an apartment when we first started living together and the only view we had was from a sliding glass door to a alley full of junk.. now we live in a house with many, tall windows that overlook cornfields and trees. It makes me happy everyday and never gets old.

Very nice! I think the nook would be better served as the office space. With dining over by the barstools and kitchen just makes more sense.

Even just being there on the first day the nook area gets really hot since it has so much sun, I think it would be uncomfortable working there 8 hours every day🥹

Congratulations!!! Love your new home!!!! You said it’s west facing; just be aware that it will be warmer in the afternoon with the sun in the summer, especially being top floor. AC will be running longer. I’m west facing too but in the middle of my small building. I got balcony shades which helps…. a little.

I am glad you found a great place! I used to live in Arlington and in Alexandria, and I moved like four times between apartments and a townhome. I am now in Arizona but I miss the area a lot. However, rent over there is absolutely crazy! I have owned two homes since I’ve left the area and my Mortgage has not been anywhere near what my rent was. 😂. I enjoy your content as I also work from home for the biggest credit union in your area, which I’m pretty sure you can guess which one it is. 😂 Best of luck on your new apartment!

It is so expensive to live in Arlington. I live in Clarendon and the prices for the new apts that have gone up are out of control. There are some apts going for $10K. SMH I am definitely being priced out of this neighborhood. Gosh I know you can't tell us where this apt is but dammit this place is nice. Congratulations.
