On March 7th 2016 with Bob Pierse (former lead singer with the Deltones) we wrote this song as a tribute to my good mate Gary.
To coincide with the Rugby League season commencing this week we decided to upload this music video. Thanks for watching.

My Dear Friend Gary Torrens , died today on the Mandurah Estuary , sailing the boat he just built , I can't give any more details , Gary and I were Best mates and i am devastated , Gary was a First Grade Rugby League player in Sydney , he played for Newtown , and then Eastern Suburbs (Roosters) , under master coach Jack Gibson , he came to W.A. and played and coached South Perth R.L. Canning R.L. and the State team that went to New Guinea , he is my Mate every Monday morning we would have a post mortem on the games played in the N.R.L. and he liked watching the A.F.L. every few weeks Gary would get on the train in Mandurah and meet me in Joondalup for morning tea , and we would tell lies to each other , I will miss everything about my Friend ,life will not be the same for me ,good friends like Gary don't come along everyday , R.I.P. Mate Love you and will miss you so much.....
