EMPTY FLIGHT to Vegas on Frontier Airlines

My last flight for the day was out west on by far the EMPTIEST jet flight I've ever taken. I had expected the flight over to the Sin City from Atlanta to be on the lighter side, but once everyone boarded and I realized no one was behind me...well it was quite strange to say the least. Frontier Airlines is not an airline I fly much as they are my least favorite airline and I don't really find the need to fly them much in my travels, but with the flight being so empty it wasn't that bad. If you're on a budget, they can certainly work - just be prepared for what you'll find onboard (a seat and that's it). Hope you guys enjoy!

Frontier grows on you gradually, especially if one is a retired educator and enjoys traveling, at least 50 or more flights a year. At my age I don’t need a lot of frills. Getting to where I am now, I have had a lot of thrills. So Frontier ain’t such a bad deal for flying to point A to point B, and still have money in your pocket when you get where you are going. So I have flown Frontier enough that I have acquired Elite status with a free checked bag and a carry on, and a free seat assignment at the time of purchase for any available seat on the plane. So it’s a safe and reliable, but yet, economical alternative for flying almost anywhere on any given day. Try it; you may like it.

I totally agree! I worked for united airlines and there was so many full flights I couldn’t get on I had to pay outta pocket to get him from somewhere and last minute took frontier. Honestly was super cheap and a great flight.

I just got back from Vegas. The tech convention CES was in town but many companies pulled out of attending. Vegas did not seem busy at all. This is January and it’s cold in Vegas but still you would expect it to be a little busier. At the airport yesterday, my friend and I at 4pm were only 2 of 6 in line for security. Last year, I was in Vegas and talking to an Uber driver about the billion dollar upgrade to the convention center. He said “if conventions don’t return to Vegas soon, it will die a slow death.” We are in a pandemic and things are crazy right now so valid reasons exist as to why it is not busy but I hope for the locals sake and their economy that it gets busier soon.

Since Frontier wants to switch to PW engines and Indigo wants to switch to CFM, but both currently have the opposite engine, Frontier should give their CFM powered A320NEOs to Indigo and Indigo should give their PW powered A320NEOs and A321NEOs to Frontier

You're not supposed to do any work while flying an ULC airlines. You should just pray that you can get some rest and the flight is uneventful. Expect nothing but a safe flight.

I've had low load factors on Southwest numerous times. I had 15-20 people total OAK-MSP two weeks in a row pre covid on a 737-700

I came here for this comment. I flew from SAN to HNL on one of their 737 Max 8s. There was enough passengers that everyone got their own row of 3 seats (2 Pax per row)
