That's a killer guitar, and I agree with Elliott Easton about having all the extra hardware on a guitar. like five position switches, multiple pickups, and a whole bunch control knobs. two humbuckers and a three position switch is all you need. no sense making you job more complicated than it needs to be.

It’s obvious he loves guitars 🎸. You know your with a Guitar 🎸 guy when all he wants to talk about is his guitar 🎸! And I love guitars 🎸 too so I will listen for hours and I’m not bored. Quite the contrary, I listen to every detail and I’m fascinated by these beautiful objects that make so many varied sounds and are usually fun to play. I picked up off the Wall a genuine off white Stratocaster and Telecaster in a Pawn shop a while back and was stunned by how well they played and the clean, crisp sounds they made! The Strat made that great strumming sound that only a Strat can make! You know it when you hear it. And the Telecaster made these incredibly bright and precise melodic notes! I tell you this! My playing improved 50 percent just by playing those fine Instruments! The action was good and they were smooth and comfortable to play! So you can’t go wrong with the real thing and quality made guitars 🎸! I noticed the difference immediately in the playing action and sound! I own a Strat Copy that is not as good or as fun to play as the Real thing! I never played a Gretsch but can imagine it’s good!🔥💥🎸😎

I am not normally a gear-head; I just play a Strat and a Westone Spectrum, plus a cheap-but-reliable Yamaha acoustic. Nevertheless, that custom Gretsch is so beautiful I could just drool. I have never played anything like that, and I'm sure I couldn't afford one, but damn!

I can tell you a Gretsch is better than a Fender I know I own both. I Telecasters but It love my Gretsch G5122DC electromatic. it's a better guitar and it works better for the genres of music I like to play the most.
