LOVE that the laundry closet has cabinets which are so handy. Gorgeous white kitchen! Some houses have closets off the bathroom and some don't. I guess it depends on the builder.

So happy for you both! My parents moved to HHI last year, after buying a house a few years back and renting it out. They live in the Palmetto Dunes plantation and have really enjoyed it. I also wouldn’t mind if you gave us Canadians some helpful hints to home buying in the US, as I’m also thinking about buying down south as well. The stars sure did align for you in Target that day😀

I'd be happy to give tips! The bank process in the USA is VERY different (and stressful, I won't sugar coat it), but worth it. Knowing what you want and seeing the areas you are considering is helpful for sure - but we did a lot of video tours via Facetime which was great. Definitely look around for brokers too - canadians have to put a larger deposit down, so shopping around is really important.
