So this was my best friend Chelsea's house when we were at Fort Irwin! We spent so so much time in that house having family game nights and girls nights! I recognized it based on the backyard! :)

So this floor plan is the suncup one which is available to E1 all the way to O3 but your rank will determine which neighborhood this floor plan is in for you!😄 Hopefully that makes sense haha.

Would be nice so you don’t have to lug yours around every move haha but no you have to provide your own! In Hawaii tho they did actually provide washers and dryers so maybe it’s just an overseas thing where they do that😄

We definitely got the luck of the draw with this one! I will say that some of the older houses have better storage options and floor plans that make more sense tho!

Do you guys like it there ? how are the schools? Do you feel like its hard to get out and explore cali ? we might be going here next and I only ever hear negative things.

Hi! We have enjoyed our time here so far! It has its positives and negatives for sure but it’s been fine! I’ve only experienced one school here so far and we haven’t had any issues with it and have been happy with their teachers😄 It’s really nice knowing your spouse’s schedule a year out so that’s been great for us being able to plan our fun outings and stuff like that! It can be a little annoying when a rotation is going on because the incoming soldiers can make certain things in the commissary go fast or make the Starbucks line incredibly long🤣 but all in all we are happy here!

I’m going to pcs in a week haha, set to move in about 3 weeks, are these houses pre furnished ? Like washers or No? Those can be a little pricey haha

They don’t come with washers and dryers unfortunately but there is a laundromat on base! And the PX has a little furniture section so definitely check out the prices there because they are usually a pretty good price!

Enlisted! Depending on if you need a 3 bedroom tho this floor plan could still be a possibility for you guys in a different neighborhood tho! You will probably end up in the Sandy Basin or Crackerjack Flats neighborhoods😄

Hi there! I’m not super knowledgeable on what efmps are here but I know a lot of things do get referrals to somewhere nearbyish depending on what it’s for! If you’re on FB tho you should join the group Fort Irwin connections and I bet someone there would be able to give you better info!😄
