We have moved out of our house in April and I will be uploading our old house tour in two parts. This is part one, which is the upstairs/1st floor. The basement tour, which is a lot more contemporary a modern will be coming next week. For the reno on the first floor, we spend around $200,000 in 2015. It was quite expensive for such a simple reno, but if you were to do it today, it would definitely cost a lot more.

New house very ugly lol will need to renovate again. It actually looks just slightly better than our old house before RENO and the kitchen is like the same look lol

@@HeyChenny good luck! Its gonna be a lot of work. Especially nowadays the price is high with so much delay. My friend only redid her bathrooms and deck and it took almost 6 months 😅

We had to move closer to work and we also needed a bigger house since I"m pregnant again. I want my kids to be in a corner where I can't see them LOL is that a weird excuse. But after moving we are definitely closer to food, work and school. It's probably the best decision ever even though I spent like 500K total on my house renos at the old house and now I have to spend 500K again on the new house, but I guess it's okay it's worth it lol

Can you recommend the company who did you kitchen cabinet?

I used Royal Cabinets in Richmondhill but now I use Smart Renovations in Vaughan. You can look into both to see which is cheaper and which you prefer. They both have pretty good services

I think a lot of landscaping companies can do it. I didn't like the ppl who did my outside landscaping so I "lost" their contact lol. But I liked the ppl who did my reno, you can try JY Construction or Smart Renovations in Toronto

Hey I used Craft Door but I think there's also a lot more options and cheaper ones but you can look into them first. Also, my husband went and did not negotiate a discount, so make sure to negotiate, I'm pretty sure you can atleast negotiate like 20%
