Whether I like it or not I fear the legend of Gary Moore would be even more distant, pardon the pun, but for Tommy. I thank him so much for keeping Gary alive for others.

Gary Moore is the one who inspired Tommy to pick up a guitar when he was 9 years old. He even managed to buy Gary Moore's original guitar. He recorded a fantastic cover of "Murder in the skies" on it, together with his friend Chris Davidsson. You REALLY need to check it out, that cover is a masterpiece 😉

Could this get any better?....I don't think so! I just wish that Gary Moore had lived to hear what a huge influence he had on this legend! But as long as Tommy is around then Gary will live on! Love your reactions! ❤

One of my favourites of Tommys Gary Moore covers...its just beautiful in every way, and a stunning tribute to one of his all-time heroes :) Apart from Tommys Gary Moore covers (which are all worth checking out), you definitely need to check out Tommys Taylor Swift cover of 'Anti-Hero'....ive suggested that one before I think, but its worth repeating because, honestly, it is so so good, and Tommy basically re-worked that song from the ground up to make it a totally different song from the original and make it uniquely his.

When it comes to Gary Moore you can definitely see that he was/is Tommy's idol. And you can also hear that ❣️ Tommy puts he's whole soul in the Gary Moore songs he have done 🙏 Yes Tommy do that with every song he do but Gary is something special 💥 Thank you for this reaction Daniel 🤗 And yes, you should look at Murder in the Skies as someone requested. One of Tommy's best cover I think ❤🇸🇪

This is so wonderfully good, both his singing and playing. You know, Gary had his soul in his fingers when he played. I think Tommy has it too, that's why you get goosebumps 😉👌😁. Gary has been in my life since the mid 80s. And people say he was the one who could nail a Jimi Hendrix cover. I agree, he could. There are a couple of live performances to listen to. Like Voodoo Child, it's fkn great!! ❤️

There are legends like Gary Moore and Carlos Santana that just don't get enough credit they deserve. And of course Tommy Johansson is underated himself. I bet there are some Sabaton fans out there that don't even know Tommy can do this. A great cover as always from Tommy did the man justice. Thanks for the reaction.

Most Sabaton fans know Tommy very well. And they follow his work. Of course, there are probably those who don’t know about Tommy’s work. but there are very few of them.

I'm a Swede and musician. Can you believe that I had _never heard of_ Sabaton or even [the] Tommy Johansson?! I point out that most Swedish people have never heard about those fantastic guys and musicians. METAL isn't that big here.

I'm pretty old now, and I first learned about them in April 2023! (I searched for _Chris Kläfford,_ but I found Tommy J.) And today, I can't be without him and his covers!) I played him since my discovery of him (and Sabaton). Every day! Kurdos for reacting to him. (But Dan?) _I know, it's your channel._ Lol.

@@dlind1985 OU. There are a huge number of Sabaton fans in Russia. Yes, they are known and loved all over the world. And all the fans know and love Tommy. It’s really strange for me to hear that they are not so popular in their homeland. It’s strange, but it happens.🤷♀

@@dlind1985 isn't Metal big in Sweden? 😳 I thought it was very big here. I myself started listen to Metal late in my life (2021) But I had heard Sabaton (and more bands) before that.

There's actually 3 versions of this track the late Mr Moore recorded one with an acoustic solo+bass solo and electric guitar solo then the version Tommy's covered and the version with just the electric guitar solo but enough nit picking 😊when it comes to the late great Mr Moore nobody, nobody can pay such stunning tribute than TJ he is just phenomenal at capturing every aspect and emotion that Gary moore played with the only way to I guess put the 2 into perspective would be to listen to both versions of the "loner " back to back first Mr Moore's original then Tommy's stunning cover it's just a shame the great man's no longer with us can only imagine what a collaboration with TJ and his hero would have been like 🙌have a fantastic one my friend stay safe take care all the very best from Scotland to you 👍 👊

Sabaton,,,( 1916 ) video is a must. Be sure and watch the end. It tells you how many life's were killed within a couple of miles and how the war wiped out the town of men. Blew my mind. If the schools played Sabaton songs in history classes children today would know a lot more in history and wars.
