Team Tommy here and I am hoping to see more Tommy reactions so I subbed! The passion Tommy has in this, is like he projects it right into my soul. His cover of Gary Moore's "The Loner" does the same thing. Tommy didn't add embellishments at the end, as @olamattsson said, it was based off of Gary's performance in Stockholm, 1987. You can find the video on YT. Thank you for the great reaction!

I always said that David Gilmore of Pink Floyd was one of the only ones who could make a guitar cry and sing and just pull every bit of emotion out of it with every note. However Tommy has no doubt in my mind entered into that small group of people capable of doing the very same. That guitar solo especially at the end was just sooooo damn good.

He's been playing since he was 9 years old and his guitar hero is Gary Moore of course

Gary used to keep a song going way past it's bedtime, and still keep it interesting. Tommy based this cover on Gary's performance in Stockholm in April 1987. Bob Daisley played the base then.

Recommend Murder in the skies, Tommy J feat. Chris David. Tommy with a Gary Moore guitar he bought just before he did that cover. Amazing! Chris David is bassist in Tommy’s band Majestica (really worth listening to).

Gary Moore are the reason Tommy decided to become a guitarist at age 9 (when his father showed him the stockholm concert from 87 on vhs) ..Gary is Tommys guitarhero and he has made many covers of his songs ..it took him a bit longer to persue the singing ..that happened when he was 15 and heard 18 and life with skidrow on the radio for the first time.. I put a link to the video where he talkeds about his Gary Moore guitar: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZTXhXiflt6UiM0si=QuAHupAX-seKsjob
