All ways use a pressure regulator on your city water supply it will cause the pressure regulator to lift and back fill your fresh water tank. You can tighten the check valve on the pump with a allen that will raise the pressure to your coach but thats not advisable. When the city water pressure is above 45 psi the check valve will open and relieve into your fresh water hold tank. Guarantee you there is nothing wrong with old pump

@@WillardsWithaView on the top of the pump there is a small allen screw, tighten it to increase the output pressure. It will also allow a higher city water pressure before it lifts (pressure controller internal of pump) and starts to fill the fresh water tank. Take note the pipes in the trailer are not rated for more than 45 psi. Hope this helps if not I know of another fix.

You have a northtrail what model ? We have a 2018 23rbs and ha worked through a few issues and it was before pandemic work I'm thinking it was retirement time with new people working.

We have a 2017 33BKSS. It just wouldn’t be right if there weren’t any issues to work on! That’s a part of this lifestyle that keeps you busy for sure!

It could be depending upon how much room you have to access and install it. Very limited space where our pump and lines are located.

So I'm hooked up to city water at the camp site. And I woke up to hear dripping. Went on the side and the portable water tank is over flowing/dripping like yours. I've drained my black and grey tanks several times over the weekend. I'm new to all this by the way 😂 Can you please ADVISE what do I do at this point before leaving today.

It is most likely a valve in your water pump that is stuck open allowing the city water to backfill your fresh water tank. You can try closing it by turning off the city water and then turn on your water pump and run water through each faucet until there is no air in the lines. This may close it. We replaced our pump as shown in video and still occasionally have the same issue. Our solution now is to cut off the flow from the freshwater tank to the pump when we are not using it. We have a pre installed winterization kit that has a shut off valve between the pump and freshwater tank that we now cut off when we’re connected to city water.
