The 21-Day Kindness Challenge launched on September 11th. 98 countries. 6000 people. And a collective tidal wave of good that inspired many -- including young rapper-activist "Nimo" Patel at the Gandhi Ashram in India. Nimo wasted no time channeling that inspiration into an infectious music video. "Being Kind" was created on super short notice by an intercontinental crew of volunteers working out of their living rooms. Look for ways to give, without expectation. So many ppl are dying of loneliness. Nursing homes & assisted living facilities are full of them… Acknowledge the homeless, encourage them to get food stamps, or disability if they can’t work. They need a lawyer to get help, but they’re free. Don’t be afraid to smile, it can heal someone’s broken heart. 🌸❤️🌸❤️🌸❤️🌸 And Children in schools often lack support or mentoring, and need tutoring with reading or math. Crisis centers need caring people to listen to callers pour their hearts out. ❤❤❤❤❤ Soup kitchens or community meal sites need help with many jobs like setting things up, cooking, talking to guests, and clean up. The reason people are unkind is because in the past people were unkind to them. It's hard to be kind to people when all they do is treat us like shit. People think I'm sassy and rude because I try to stand up for myself when people treat me awful. They expect me to be nice no matter what because I small and weak. I'm kind to kind people only.
