This premise for this song was literally stolen from House of Pain who shopped the demo around to a number of record labels including Jermaine Dupree and Joe Nicolo who offered them a garbage deal. House of Pain eventually ended up with Tommy Boy records and this song was birthed from Jump Around which is a much better song and anthem. Even at the end of Jump Around you hear Everlast say “this is dedicated to Joe the biter Nicolo, grab your balzac, punk!” A straight diss to Nicolo and Dupree who jacked their idea.

For real. It was definitely a different time. Music was much more real 20 years ago. Music was a huge influence and movement before the 21st century rolled around. People that were born into this world where all these quick technologies already exist will never know that "old world". Shit was just different in the 80's and a bit of the 90's.
