Thanks, I wasn’t sure what was inside it above the dirt. I think I will take the bag off completely and blow it out with an air hose to get as much particles out as possible to increase the efficiency of the system

That machine was designed to take a large disposable bag. The bag is a hepa material and would need changing every 4 to 5 months. The cost of a package of bags is around $20.00. The filter above is a permanent filter with weights sewn into the middle to allow it to drop when relaxed. It will remain clean when used with the disposable bag. USE THE BAG!. The filter will be more efficient and cleaning will be so much easier.

Thanks for the video. Unfortunately, it makes me hate doing vacuum with my central unit even more. That also explains why there is now an auto-empty feature in some high end vacuum models.

A lot of central vacuums are hybrid models these days where you can install a bag which would make it way easier than this.

The filter is REMOVABLE, and after removal is much easier to clean properly.

I just bought a hybrid Cana Vac. I have the choice of using a bag or not. I’m not going to. You only use a filter?
@randomrazr2 жыл бұрын
no way to remove the innter filter?
@jerzy56Ай бұрын
That is a filter bag , do not remove it, , you should purchase a bag it attaches to the inner pipe , then you have less mess to clean up.
@randomrazrАй бұрын
@@jerzy56 doesnt it need to be replaced at some point though?

You almost need another vac to clean the vac

Wrap the garbage bag around the canister above the bucket and then grab a hold of the filter and shake the hell out of it for 30 seconds. Do this a couple of times and then you are good to go. You would be better off to set it up to use disposable bags instead of using a filter like a barbarian.
