I became a heist enjoyer again. Setting up the rogues is boring (I was really inefficient at it, you can get it done in an hour) but once you do, and you have fast character it feels really nice to just zoomzoom through the blueprints. Profit is amazing, considering the amulet RNG. But, as always, Based or Cringe is in the eye of the beholder. If opening doors is not for you, that's completely understandable. Thanks for watching!

This is how I gear my rogues: In the cloack, look for this mod: 5% chance to not Activate Lockdown in Grand Heists (need ilvl 83+ for the 5%) In the tools: +1 to Level of all Jobs for Heists (ilvl 82+) In the brooch and gear: increased Job speedSpeed you can craft this with Harvest And thats it!! i hope this was useful and tldr enough for you :)

I've been super lucky in heist this league and made about a mirror in 2 days. Got a focused amulet on day 1 and split, sold for 150 div each. Then found a simplex amulet on day 2 and split, sold for 250div each.

If someone wants to do this, you can increase the value of the "chaos orbs have a chance to drop as divine orbs instead" trinket by rolling "chance to duplicate basic currency" on your rogues' gear. It rolls after the trinket, so if you have 15% duplicate chance and a divine drops, you have a 15%chance to get two divines. So for every Chaos that drops, you have 2.49*(1 + duplicate chance) expected value, equalling to .0249c extra value per %duplicate chance. Doesn't sound much, but if you have 3 rogues with 15% (=max value) each, you get an extra 1.12c per chaos dropped, for a total of 3,61c per chaos dropped. Of course you could do it without the divine trinket, too, but you'd probably make more with duplicate div cards or duplicate catalysts instead.

the annoying part of heist is doing intro quests, unlocking rogues, leveling up the crew, gearing up the crew, doing a lot of contracts for discount blueprints or farming marks, no atlas progression, no atlas bonus, rippy af, no blueprint or contracts dropped, hearing them saying stuff like "rook? ROOOOOK" all the time but the rewards can be great.

just an fyi, since you were saying how good rewards group up together. There is a mod for cloaks that is a chance for the alarm to not start when you break out a reward. With that being said, you have a chance to be able to select an additional reward in your heists

About that trinket, I would suggest calculating the effect a litte differently. You found 686c with the trinket, therefore, 686 = 99%, for 100% you just divide by 0.99 -> 686/0.99 = 692.929 This means that without the trinket you would have found 692.929c, lets just round that to 693c, the difference between those numbers are of course transformed into divs -> 693-686 = 7 Therefore, we can conclude that 7 divs were dropped due to that trinket (or 6.929 if you hate rounding). This calculation doesnt rely on the theoretical value of chaos drops as used in the video, therefore, its basically more accurate, however, the theoretical value approach is more useful to value the effect of the trinket generally, whereas my approach is more useful to calculate the effect on a given number of drops.

I started doing heist last week. Ran around 700 wings, got pretty lucky with the amulets (2 focused and 1 astrolobe), 2 farruls fur, 1 alberons. Haven't seen hh yet. Overall got pretty lucky so I'm happy with it.

I did heist for a week and managed to gear up an LS trickster character with close to bis. I made enough for a mageblood in the first 3 days and managed to find 4 helicat rings and an amulet (not simplex), that sold for 150 div x 2 (split) and an 80 div trinket. That was on top of everything else, like tailoring orbs, divs (sometimes 5 at once) and replicas. I revealed, which is probably slightly less divs per hour than running them without revealing, but it was still very fast and efficient (you can do a deception contract in 30 seconds if the layout is not trash). I did not count divines per hour, but I was definitely making over 20 when it was all said and done. Very profitable and easy, but extremely boring and tedious.

@@jamesricardo2488 I didn't start at the start of the league, but I would assume you also do blueprints. The contracts do give some decent bubble gum currency early on if you open all the chests (I skipped them in contracts), but blueprints are a lot of more profitable, as long as you can find enough to buy early league. Some of the replicas are worth a lot more at the start.

i havent been able to heist in 4-5 leagues, every time i go to Rogue's Harbor, the sheer amount of people with microtransactions crashes my game every time. This is why it's critical to roll max "chance to not trigger alarm" on all your Rogues cloaks, gives you a total 15% chance you can snag a second reward, and I've even very rarely been able to grab a third :3

I know this might be a bit of a "hot take" (or not depending how much of a juicer you are I guess), but having a strat that makes 13 div/h while demanding so much preparation is just kind of ass. - Leveling up the rogues is boring as hell - buying/getting gear for them to make them good - buy 500 BPs (even with bulk buying thats just kind of annoying, especially in a league where you can just buy scarabs of the NPC) - make a Heist character that runs fast and invest in a decent trinket - you forfeit your town and basically get no gold - having to load into the shitty MTX filled cancerhole that is kingsmarch after every BP - doors I'd argue Heist is not profitable enough for an "alternate to maps" mechanic, especially, when Sanctum exists and is just a way "better" Heist. Running fast is fun though. Im glad we still have the runners and them feeling like they make bank, because every endgame builds seems to need either an amulet or a ring and no amount of mirrors can get me to do this.

Leveling all your rogues up to max level is a mistake. Get them just high enough to do some of your blueprints and let blueprints finish leveling them. That way you spend the least amount of time running inefficient contracts that aren't for gianna.

@@Liword132 I think its fine for most 50 Map projects Empy does. Rolling maps might take 10 minutes. You can sell bigger drops while mapping and keep items you want to sell in bulk until you have a big enough bulk. Which means prep time is not much and you can liquidate while playing. Empy just collects everything to give people are rough estimate of what to expect. But with this episode is a big difference between rolling 50 maps in 10 minutes and setting up 576 grand heists in 3 hours.

3 hours should absolutely NOT be added to runtime, that's leveling rouges, a thing that you do only once per league. You don't roll blueprints, so the only prep time would be scour + assign rougues. That's about 2sec per blueprint. Bying should be easy in bulk and selling is pretty much the same as with most strats: currency tradehouse and some uniques/bases for 1div+

u can literally get basic heist character gear for under 2divs. Queen of the Forest chest, Ascent From Flesh belt, Three-step Assault boots (big evasion-to-speed boost for Queen of the Forest) even with corrupted implicit for 8-10% movement speed on boots for cheap, Devoto's Devotion helmet, 2x Ichimonji swords, all of that can be even under 1div day 2 or 3 of the league. if u wana go premium u can buy Tempered Spirit unique jewel (must be socketed in specific jewel socket for max effect), u can get Watchers Eye with "%movement speed while affected by grace". try to pick up all "increased movements speed" on passive tree and u are ready to go, for really really cheap. i did this for 6 leagues in a row and it was cheap and effective every single time, ESPECIALLY on league start where u can make a fortune just from bubble currency alone

A heist character usually have zDPS so you are not going to be able to farm Sanctum with it.

Early heist strat is to go to harbor every level from 58 to 68 and buy every lockpicking and demolition from vendor. You run them all before killing kitava and get some early currency to start mapping. You could start a sanctum build from here too, I do it when i know i'm playing a character that sucks early on. Buying contract is too slow early and not rewarding if zone is below lvl 81 so if you wanna commit to heist might as well do it after having progressed atlas a bit imo. Heist is more noob friendly and less build prohibitive than sanctum but also less rewards. Sanctum is probably your best non mapping option.

why single wing only? the rogue's markers are cheap, and each additional wing reveal is roughly 4-10 chaos each, based on how many wings have been revealed. I realize it is a pain to do the additional reveals, though. I did a lot of heist this league, but I don't know if ill go back to it because of the lack of gold.

Heist is perfect for the brainlets like me that cannot price check too well. you either get raw currency or one of the more profitable uniques/bases which there are not that many of , not to mention it is pretty rewarding ! In 2 days of not so intense gaming managed to get 5 alberons back when they were still 50div allowing me to get my first mageblood (yippee).

Probably "Camera Rotation Effects" in the UI options. I have it turned of, because it makes me dizzy when running up to Veritania and the camera follows around the tower. Also changes the camera angle in rogue harbour to not fit with the mini map for some reason.

It's more about being able to run more blue prints and thus seeing more rewards at the end, which means more helicat rins, more simplexes, etc. In the short term, revealing is better; in the long term, running them as is, is more profit. If you are poor without a lot to invest, it's better to reveal for sure. If for some reason lots of people start doing heist, you would probably have to reveal, as there would not be enough blueprints to go around, but nobody does heist.

Wow people really love to hate heist. I love how everybody just complains how all you do is open doors as if the entire rest of POE isn't largely comprised of extreme repetition. Kind of the point of Heist is the simple fact that opening doors is literally different than killing mobs. Also, if you aren't a long term player that has game knowledge that more or less trivializes the challenge of the entire game(especially softcore trade players) content like Heist can actually be engaging and fun. Just because you build a character that doesn't die ever doesn't mean Heist is what makes the game boring. What makes the game boring is you've run out of new things to do and learn, and at that point all of the content becomes a door simulator, just with less doors I guess.

because you have to run contracts to get reveals? you can do it but you're losing some time doing this

I've been saying heist needs streamlined for a long time, other content got a lot of it's more annoying parts cut down, heist still needs it. Lose rogue leveling. I'm not even sure contracts have a place in the game any more. Make atlas nodes that reward reveals. Here's hoping the heist characters being in kingsmarch is a subtle hint were going to see something done with heist. Perhaps rogues leading our shipments with a chance to find super heists or something, idk.

​@@Merguin I never had the issue you are talking about. I would not pick up shitty ones that were only worth like 20c unless they disenchanted into a lot of dust. Most heists, I would run out without anything. The valuable ones like alberon sell quite easily if you don't overprice them.

@@Merguin If you want to spend hours running back to your hideout to sell 5-20c uniques, then be my guest, I think it's a waste of time. A lot of those 20c uniques turn into dust not sales. I picked up a bunch of high dust items that I gave to my disenchanters. I am not leaving a heist or a map for 20 chaos this late in the league. You don't cut down on your actual profits when you understand what leaving to sell a 20c unique is in profits. The time it takes is usually not worth it. He is probably going to end up dusting those items most likely.

@@prosamis I'd have to agree with this. Empyrian's setup is fast as shit, and is a bit unrealistic. Yes you can make a char specific to heist runs that goes that fast or even faster, but most won't be doing this. That being said, something to consider about heist is mega loot curio's exist effectively unconditionally. This is appealing to certain people. An equivalent value chase item is going to require juiced T17's to have any shred of reasonably possible % to drop.
