Really happy with how the wand turned out, big shoutouts to Bazukatank, Teiphel and Preheet for joining the cratf, couldn't have made the implicits so nice without them for sure. It would be dumb to do so. He should've rolled tier 1 attack speed implicit instead of power charge on kill, to then hinekora vaal to get power charge on crit. But it would cost 800 locks on average.

This is always so interesting to watch. Like sometimes i don't watch for 2-3 days and don't see the time and effort spent and only the final itmes. Aside from the expensive crafting it took a crazy amount of time to craft... not only do you spend 5k divs, you could have farmed a shit ton in that time alone. I will never question mirror fees again

Yeah I agree here. So much of this game falls short if you're not playing a ton. Its great for people that devote their time and are rewarded for it, but looking at the spectrum, its extremely wild how large it is from low to high. People say D4 doesn't have crafting, and that's pretty much true, but in the same vein, this game has "crafting" but its only for people that can accumulate the wealth needed to put themselves through it (or the godly luck needed to go at it with reduced costs). Alternatively, this level of crafting probably isn't needed for anything in the game anyway (I assume), so it's nothing to worry about missing out on.

@@CyframerEX Eh, I think it's disingenuous to say crafting is only for people with lots of accumulated wealth. Obviously you're not going to be making triple synth implicit Quad T1 mirror items without a huge bank, but there are tons of crafts that are fairly affordable upgrades for a lot of builds. Simple Alt/Aug/Regal spamming on cluster jewels, Essence spamming on a fractured base, Graveyard crafting for easy 5xT1 chests/weapons, are all crafting routes that should give you an upgrade for 1-3 div, that might cost you 5-10 if you buy from someone else. That's less than an hour of making Double Corrupt Temples, something you can do in white maps on even the lowest investment build with nothing but the maps and 1c scarabs as initial cost.

@@qikink1 ​​⁠that’s the issue, what is double corrupt temples? And I imagine that still takes currency and you’re not guaranteed drops necessary to have a lot of attempts. Same in your example, those resources will run out and you will be back to square one of needing to pour time into a lot more mapping if you aren’t breaking the game with broken stuff before its nerfed or aren’t playing something that maps for you and going lightspeed. That kind of prog isn’t for everyone and its absolutely fair to see that, because any crafting is gated with things that can easily run out due to RNG, most of your mid to low prog people aren’t going to get anywhere without an intense amount of luck. Same with your graveyard crafting example and lets not talk about the complexity of needing to use a third party site to get anywhere with it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't Spell Double Damage Implicit work as you're most probably running Iron Will with Battlemage's Cry, which allows your attacks to benefit from increase to spell damage? Just a thought

Battlemage's Cry (and Crown of Eyes and the Wand Mastery) is worded "increases and reductions to spell damage apply to attacks", which specifically means "increased spell damage" and "reduced spell damage". Nothing else; things like "more spell damage" or "chance to deal double damage with spells" don't work.

It's a bit weird but if you have another prefix you wanna remove that does not have the "attack" tag then the annul respects the "cannot roll attack mods" in the same way it would if you were crafting another affix on top with that mod on the item. Sorry im kinda bad at explaining but it kinda just does :D

The lightning damage mod has the “attack” tag. “Cannot roll attacks” includes annuls. So, it protects all mods with the attack tag from being annulled.

these are synthesis implicits. such an influenced item can have 1-3 synthesis implicits. im not sure if the ones that drop can have more than 1 though? but such late game crafts people usually use the harvest crafting option to add synthesis implicits to preferred item bases afaik

@empyriangaming With harvest juice prices being so cheap and sacred crystallized lifeforce being cheap wouldn't it make more sense to lock prefixes and augment speed instead of using reforge and having the potential to brick then buying a 50div lock to annul? I haven't done the math on this but I am pretty sure you would have saved money.

I always get curious about how much these crafts costs if you converted to real money. 5,000 divines means this wand cost around $500 CAD to craft. What blew my mind more is a SINGLE seller on G2G has 6,320,147 divines for sale. Didn't realize botting was so common in PoE.

from my understanding, most currency seller's don't bot. they buy early in the league, when prices are extremely low, buidling a stockpile, keep a small portion of that listed, then sell off the majority later on, when it goes up in price.

For the step at 28:37 and 32:50 where you remove add crit, wouldn't it have been slightly better to craft "can have up to 3 Crafted Modifiers" aswell as "Prefixes Cannot Be Changed"? Should have been doable since you had 2 open suffixes and I'd say the 2 div cost would be worth to maximize your chances of not removing the attack speed. GG on the craft btw.

Unfortunately no, it’s ‘add-remove’ not remove add, so it adds first, meaning if the item is full it can’t do the craft

Its better to have a game with alot depths then little to no depth, the same you you want your favorite show to have more episodes not less, the more there is to enjoy and learn the better. Ofc unless you are someone who looks at 40 different things at once and gets overwhelmd and run away, but most ppls tackle one at a time, so its better to have more things.
