As long as you are connected to your container and put the item on your tray(hot bar) you can sell it regardless of how much your person can hold as the container is holding it not you. Anything on the tray(hot bar) for a connected container can be sold. If you had a container full of one item that took up 320k volume, just connect and put the item on the tray(hot bar) then click on the trader and it will all be available for sale. Buying works that way too. Whatever you buy while connected as long as there is space in the container you can purchase and it will go into that container.
