This tutorial focuses on some of the basic angled block sets and transitions. I also show how to use N key tool symmetry and copy/paste. Using these sets of blocks I attempt to build a sphere in the end part of the video.

This is maybe one of the most valuable videos you've ever made, oh Master of Angles & Shapes! I will watch parts of this in slow motion and try to retrace only a bit of it... Thank you, Jeff! 👌

Thanks for this video, even if I now feel like a total idiot after the first 5 minutes. At least I can get back to building instead of beating my head against a wall🤕

Thanks for the video. If you could hover over the blocks a bit longer when picking and announce the block name it would make it easier to follow. Your videos are like a model set so I follow them step by step. In the future I will know what goes with what but for now I am on your tutorials.:) As they are updating to 11 I hope they speak with you about organizing the workshop. It would be great if we could hover over a piece and see not just the material but what shape it is as well like Cut corner A etc.

Just thinking about your sphere. Would it be easier or more appropriate to build a soccer ball with the angles available?
@jeffrandall28135 жыл бұрын
Very possible. I had no real pre-planning on this, just seeing what would happen. It does give me some ideas on possible future things thou. Thanks again!

TY Jeff! very helpful info. I just posted a miner i made since all the starter miners, well sorta suck for my play style. look up ZF - Starter Miner. feedback on the texturing would help! also, i am working on a hover tank, and this video has been very helpful putting it together.

I never understood the compulsion to build "earth water ship" like hulls. Why not think of these ships as "space" ships and work of that basis when building space ships and have mere dedicated hull space, hanger space and more free form internal space around this "space ship" faux-pax. Now that being said. Keep up the good work. Always interesting to see what you build.

Thanks. Sorry about my slow response. I been missing some comments. When a block is equipped, just right click on the mouse and it brings up the block menu. I hope that helps. Thanks again!

I have seen another video from Enigmus on building a sphere. He started by creating two circles, one horizontal and one vertical and then he was trying to smother out the corners. I think his method was better cause the two circles serve as template or guidelines. Your method is not bab but I think it is a bit harder to work with.
@jeffrandall28135 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I really didn't put much thought into it or figure out a scale or size. But when I was going thru some angles, the one part looked like a corner of a sphere so I went with it to see what would happen. It's amazing how much shaping you can get out of basically 3 sets of angle blocks. Thanks again!

Huh, so they're in sets which fit together in sequence, nice. ... ....Help, help help! There are even more shapes now! It hurts my head, I need another tutorial ...

Watching these videos is actually more confusing. I wish you would post something without confusion and omissions. Even your review videos are unprepared. I have to unsub to save myself the headaches.
