Some of your Neodymium, Titanium, and Cobalt costs all come from the Light Gatling Turrets you kept on the build, as each one requires 16 Advanced Electronics now, which means each turret now costs an extra 16 Neodymium ingots, 16 Titanium Plates, and 8 Cobalt ingots. On the other hand, they use 12.7mm ammo now, which can be crafted in a Mobile Constructor, so as long as there's a Small Constructor at least in the ship at spawn then there should be no issues with ammo production. The Repair Stations no longer require Zascosium Alloy to build and instead just take a bit of Cobalt in the form of Power Regulators, as do Hanger Doors now, but it's negligible. As for the 640k storage not being square; I personally don't mind it. You'll be filling it up and putting a container in it anyway and you'll never see it again afterwards. The ship is looking fantastic as always. Love your builds.

That door assembly over the shower and toilet is cute, but I'm pretty sure using the toilet will trap you inside. Really cool build so far. Definitely like the texturing on the flight deck as opposed to the block cut-ins that I always get stuck on. I have a distinct feeling that this won't replace the Janus for many players but they'll just park their Janus in the back and keep on building their fleet and resources up. Will be a fun build for lots of players.

Jeff, no put the ramp to push to the top like they did on aircraft carriers. Have it off to the side, maybe in the back, so that you move the SV to the ramp from the back by opening the doors then onto the ramp to lift it to the top.

Awesome Build! As always :) But the cost in carbon and iron is staggering. Thats a lot of mining if you want to bring it in as your starter. At the point where you have those resources the cobalt and neo will probably not be an issue anymore.

Personally I'd take the constructor out, maybe put in the regular large constructor in place of the advanced one since the regular doesn't cost anything rare.

Hi, I'm glad you're building for RE2. I'm really looking forward to trying this as a base/ carrier. If you have the turbine installed for the "as spawned" model, the use advanced capacitors which require neo. Cobalt is available on the moon, but I found Neo a little harder to come by.

I am skeptical about the CV-as-Base concept, myself, but it's not Jeff's fault. We have had a stability problem when CVs are just sitting on terrain, for awhile. The player will load the playfield in and the CV gets lodged in the terrain then starts going crazy.

Great build, I love the way you have designed it. It gives the player multiple targets to work towards, like a big jigsaw. Will it work in the current versions of Reforged Eden and Vanilla.

Could you put the controller extensions in stock? Then just have to add a controller to get it. It seems like it would have enough CPU, but I have only seen it bare bones, or fully kitted. The flight deck is a major improvement IMO. Thanks Jeff!

Could also take out the Medical bay and swap it for a clone chamber. That will bring the cost down

Starter Base / Light carrier... I like it Jeff, I am inspired to use this on my next play through! Is it also Vannilla? And/or/also have you tested the orbital miner in this?

No, RE2 only although as it is designed to come in as a basic base it could be retrofitted for Vanilla in creative, I don't think you would have to change much.
