RE2 is a joke. They're finally satisfied that it's so hard that nobody wants to play it because it's no fun anymore... I can't think of any other reason why they did this...

Well, I guess that the meta of people using plastic ships were kind of imersion breaking you know, the shield piercing mechanic will changed that. I guess that's why, they changed that, but who knows? Don't give on it dude! Thanks for the reply!
