I'll go ahead and say that I suggested the cold packs were comfort only in the video. However in cases of hyperthermia a cold pack in someone's armpits and groin can be life saving.

I'm not trying to bust that kids balls at all, in fact I really appreciate what he does. I'm pretty sure the EMT structure is like this: EMT - B basic life support EMT - A advanced life support EMT - I intermediate advanced life support + starts IV's and can do esophageal obturator airway EMT - P paramedic all the above + intubation and drugs.

If you keep a fak in a vehicle at all times, does it degrade at all when temperatures reach high and low levels throughout the years?

Depending on what you have some items with adhesive can degrade but usually no. Make sure you know when your items and you replace them. A chest deal with the inability to create a seal since it’s expired and doesn’t work needs replaced.

Anything marketed to your run-of-the-mill prepper like these kits are going to be massively over-priced. They know these idiots will overpay. Just get a standard first-aid kit from a pharmacy or big box store for 1/10th the cost of these, it will have most of what you need.
