EMTB TREK RAIL 7: North Yorkshire Moors Best Descents? The Chop Gate Loop.

a 10 out of 10 must do ride! 3 massive descents, one of which was over 1.5miles! great single track, double track and some techy climbs. one of the best rides I've done. (apart from the most embarrassing crash towards the end). hope you enjoy watching it.

At 17.14 there’s a track you pass on your right. Head down there through the gate then go immediately right and keep following the path up to side…awesome views and a double black tech descent back down to the road.

I’m just watching this video on my smart television and it looks awesome pal, I also know from experience that GoPro’s never show a true representation of gradients so those descents and climbs must be brutal but also great fun, epic looking ride and I wish I lived closer especially at the moment as long drives are not possible as I’ve got some thing going on with my car ☹️

Oh I forgot to mention, I can recommend Revgrips, since I fitted them I’ve never suffered from arm pump whatsoever mate, not cheap but well worth the money for the comfort when riding really gnarly stuff 😉😉👍👍

I am 99% certain you’ll be arm pump free but it’s important to choose the correct one for your hand size, if you like a padded grip, I’d go for the large thick grips and then get ready to hit those gnarly descents and kiss goodbye to arm pump 😉😉
