Thank you so much for posting this. I commuted from Pulborough to Victoria from 98-08. It was mostly CIGs until the Electrostars arrived. The VEPs were not popular at all with the passengers and if it was a mixed formation of CIGs and VEPs you would regularly see a mad scramble of city suits up or down the platform at Pulborough as the 12 car 7:06am pulled in because nobody wanted to sit in a VEP. Looking forward to seeing the Bognor to Horsham video.

each signal you see now is equipped with a route indicator box instead of the junction indicator. now for victoria, it’s UM for dorking and UH for victoria via crawley (where we’re off to)

Great video of the past, but shame audio is out of sync!. Looks like Audio is ahead by 13 seconds at the start, and 42 seconds at the end. If you line up the start, increase playback speed by 0.767% (keep audio as is) would kinda right itself although admit tricky to get perfect.

Yes l know, it seems to be when l transfer from video to dvd, so ok some not .Hope it didn't spoil your in it

good vid apart from the film and the sound dont match up. the sound is way ahead of the film.
