@Cuddle Loverxox (I can't reply to you directly, for some reason.) Joe from this episode went on to land a lead part in the CITV sitcom Spatz a few years later; he also presented The DJ Kat Show for a bit, as did Catrina. The biggest success story is Nicholas Pinnock from the 1987/8 series - he played Nelson Mandela in a fairly recent TV movie, and was part of the Fortitude cast. Other than that, there are a few appearances on dramas and soaps like The Bill between them, but no major starring roles. From what I can gather, some of them went into stage acting, some became professional backup dancers and/or singers, others became models, a few took up instructing and training, and many left "showbiz" all together.

VideotapeFTW Im now friends with Joe on various social media and he uses periscope a lot! Hes now a producer of a company that makes promotional videos for companies who want to market their work.

I love how those in the Grotto stopped caring long ago and are just having a laugh. And, if I've counted correctly, I think this is the 'middle' episode of the entire 1982-89 run.

I liked Rod's spontaneous suggestion that the whoever won the LP's might choose one by Marcel Marceau. As he lent forward did Rod get a little bit more hands on with Floella than either of them planned? Maybe Joe and Debbie being in the Post Office segment every week meant they could negotiate their contracts for this series and Joe choose to ask for a solo routine, whilst Debbie asked to be excused from a lot of the group dancing?
