Awesome sound - you have def inspired me to play with my unit extensively while I recover from surgery over the next few weeks.

You killer i like your music. Earlier version ( emu ASR X) was part of Underground résistance main instruments.... And Détroit trio Octave One's "I Believe" was created on ASR x. Emu. Better than AKAI. Anyway, when you created the EMULAToR........ You know you Can trust. 🏌️💥

@@rgrunzo what made you decide to part ways with it? I’ve been looking at the command stations. I realize they’re now vintage digital and won’t necessarily be as user friendly or have every modern feature. But trying to wrap my head around what to expect, and suspecting I have plenty of gear that I should invest my time, energy, focus getting deeper into. So, tell all, especially the downsides!
@bentropy4 жыл бұрын
@@rgrunzo I super appreciate this reply! I’ve heard others say the same thing: it’s deep but there’s a steep learning curve to really get to know entirely what it can do, because it has its own ways of doing things, quirks, limitations, workarounds. It’s so true that, assuming one is really in the game to make music and play, rather than merely collect hardware and perhaps learn how to use it (sometimes I’m not sure, sigh), you probably wanna make some choices about set up, main sequencer or DAW, etc. I already have gear, e.g. two Elektrons (Machinedrum and Analog Keys) which are deeeep, plus Ableton etc. And I have an old Audity2000 (with the Xtreme rom) which I guess I was thinking of selling to replace with a command station. Seemed nice to have 4x the editing knobs plus a built-in sequencer. But I don’t really need it. GAS. Thanks again for talking me out of the gear lust ... still lingers.
