Emulated Gameplay - SIMPLE2000シリーズ THE宇宙大戦争

Wow this game really does not play well with emulators. If you notice stuttering in the video, its the emulator hanging up. Seems to have a real hard time with loading screens and the menu.
This game is extremely loud. A lot of the sound effects are ear splitting and not pleasing to listen to. Gameplay wise, it feels somewhat like Lethal Skies but less precise.
The easy difficulty is really easy. Most missions are over in 2-4 minutes.
One weird thing, you can only rotate the camera around the plane from the right side.
The game starts out in the novice plane steering mode. You can go to a traditional flying style in the options.

Is this a Lethal Skies game? It doesn't look like one, except for the GUI. What system is this game for and what is it called? I don't think "Simple2000" would be its name...

Same developer, Bit Town. Made after SWV/LS2. Translated, its called The Space War (or Space War Attack if you have an EU copy). The Simple franchise is a line of budget video games, the number is how much it costs I believe (2000 Yen). This game is Vol. 78 in the Simple 2000 library. Bit Town made one more Simple 2000 game before going quiet; very similar to this but in a WW2 setting. Can't remember the name Graphically it seems very similar to SWF/LS1 but internally it seems to operate just like SWV/LS2.... Even down to how for some reason in-mission music are .wav files and so music fades out before restarting. This is a PS2 game. The title of the game is THE宇宙大戦争 but half of the videos and links on the internet have it prefaced with SIMPLE2000シリーズ so I put it all in there so people could find this video if they were looking around at Simple titles.

I like it but only missing is eng voice actor on radio for Europe version Also according to wiki, this is canon story of earth defense force(or spinoff)
