Enjoy visiting with all of the animals here on the farm animal sanctuary. We will visit with the emus, spend a lot of time with flip-flop the goose, Chase Henry around because he keeps getting in the wrong place… Feed the barn cats and pay the cat food tax to Turkey Lurkey.

I have to agree animals are people too. I wish I wasn't allergic to birds hehe they are such amazing creatures and yours are absolutely stunning in every way!!! Thank you so much for your dedication but from your demenor in your eyes you're just taking care of your family and I absolutely love that. I wish there were more people like you in the world. I love animals and I only wish I could help care for them like you do. I get close to it at work it's part of my job but I'd love to have it be such a big part of my life some day. I'm so happy I discovered your channel today. I just went through something awful the past couple days and your content is *exactly* the kind of thing i needed and has brought me so much comfort going through your shorts. Im excited to see more. When you had to get Henry "back with the boys" lol and he was panicking a little bit when you held him. Seeing the way he relaxed into you when you reassured him that it was okay. I can see you've built such GENUINE TRUST with these animals and thats an ability that more humans need to benefit everyone and everything. Tearing up at the sentiment of that trust you've built and maintained and the sentimentality of Henry being your first goosey

It was really a tie between Holiday the turkey and Flip-Flop the goose. Both of these birds were raised from babies here but Flip-Flop was especially difficult. He required a lot of extra care and attention. He had a hard time walking when he was little and took a lot of work and therapy to get him to a healthy state. So we were very close with him. We have been caring for a variety of animals for decades. But just became an official non-profit sanctuary a couple years ago. Prior to that we were completely self funded. We wanted to be able to help more animals and expand our work so we formed the Sanctuary. I guess we named it Flip-Flops animal sanctuary just because we are so close with Flip-Flop and just liked the name.
