My keyboard playing father worked on Tadao Hayashi albums, and won a music award in Japan for his contributions (song was used on movie soundtrack). Also one of his original compositions was on one of his albums. Rare find thanks.

The first time I heard Tadao Hayashi's version of Wave, I immediately bought cassette tape Finger Trip II and its CD when it was released. Whenever I need to listen to smooth jazz I always play Finger Trip II with its beautiful renditions of Just The Way You Are, Double Play, As Time Goes By, A Song For You, etc.

musicality over technicality - that what makes Tadao's style appealing to music lovers and in fact to most musicians as well. And salute also to the arranger of this piece, so pleasant to the ears, never tiring.
