There is so much I dig about this bike , the thing that really stands out to me is it's size . We have a jeep Wrangler and I could easily throw this bike in the back and go anywhere anytime. I just want to say that I bought the trail sport in august and man do I love it. I bought the optional battery and brakes and I did a range test in mode 1and got 157kms. Very impressed. I highly reccomend this company

Fabulous 👍👌. I own the Fabulous - EMX Xtreme 60v. Handles like a dream... But when in the all-wheel drive it turns into a beast. Has a massive 23.4 amp hour 60 volt battery that gets incredible range even when driving the dual 750 watt front and rear motors. Customer service has been fantastic! I'm sure the company will continue to grow with the outstanding products they provide but must say I like being the only one in town that owns one 😎. Special thanks to Lampro for the great service!

Nice Review. When I had my Rad mini I felt like I was going to slide of the seat. I kept adjusting the seat, handle bars. An just couldn't get comfortable. But I am 6' 2". An 370lbs. I could tell this was going to be good by the way you were smiling at the start. Honestly, if someone stole my RadMini, I would be looking at this, even if it does have less power. The motor combo looks right, I love the battery, the handlebar stem is brilliant, and it comes with lights, fenders, and a rack? Take my money. Only thing I would change in the design is make the seat tube longer before it splits, and move the rear lights to the back of the rack to make them more visible.

You're killing me Citizen, the EMX (I should have known what was coming by the name EMX) takes me back to my days as a BMX rider. I thought my Rize had a BMX vibe, the Xtreme nails the vibe to a T. I would have liked to see how easy it is for your wife to sit on it, her inseam and mine are similar. Looking forward to see the range on that battery. Will you be doing a full throttle on both the dual and single motor set ups?

Oh wow citizen! This ebike has everything! There’s so many ebikes that I go “I love this ebike but…..”. I have the Ariel xclass 52 v which I LOVE, but like you said it’s a bike designed to be used more like a moped, and I’ve continued to look for a second bike that is very complete and is great for pedaling, cause I want full leg extension and exercise! And with having all the power that I get from the Ariel I don’t think I can go for less. The dual motor 750 w and 60 v that’s coming sounds incredible! So I’m gonna start saving to buy this ebike next year! I was just looking at the Fabulous website and they have a ton of amazing looking bikes! It’s gonna be hard to only pick one! Citizen I can’t wait for you to to the comparison video on the Ariel xclass and this!

This is awesome. We recently been getting an influx of brand “new” companies offering the desired power & range that makes it difficult to settle on one bike, because in the span of a week or two another 2-3 bikes come out that either tops the other in P&R, and or price. Again this one satisfies the power & range along with offering the gears to take away a good amount of worry if you are left to strictly pedal home if you eat through the battery somehow. I definitely would like this bike to be half the weight it currently is, but that is being unrealistically ideal.🙂

I definitely agree, ebikes seem to get better and better each day, It's tough to decide now. I was actually impressed with the EMX weight at 76 lb. The all-wheel drive bike that I built weighs 98 lb.

@@CitizenCycle925 I hear you. My reasons are will we see more power output as well as further range if the weight of the bike were lower. And the extreme case of having to walk the bike a few miles, or lift it up some flight of stairs for whatever reason. Those two reasons are what concern me. Also I forget the handling of the bike seems like it would be effect the handling of the bike making it less easily maneuverable especially in faster riding.

One problem with the taillights, long panniers will probably block them. I have that problem with my Aventure Step Through taillight. It gets blocked by panniers! I'm thinking about re-routing it to the rear of the rack with an aftermarket taillight.

Was thinking the 20 in. tires may be perfect for my wife 5ft 3in, has your wife test ridden this bike yet? Of course, I would wait for the dual 750 W and 60V and massive battery to order. Pricing must be climbing above the 3,500 dollar mark. The sweet zone seems to be in the 1,500 to 1,600 dollar area. Thinking adding on another motor and larger battery as semi DIY projects later would be an excellent business model. Alot easier for me to get a Fab bike in the house, for 1599 dollars then add a motor and battery later as an upgrade all compatible. Kind of like the Misstrss build but none of the "scavenging" and trial/error. Thanx again Brian for all your work! 20K subs on the way. 100K silver youtube plaque, 1M and it's the Gold Button plaque. I bought this bike after watching your review but with the 750watt motors. Not disappointed at all, I think that it has more power than I would ever need. I have had it three days and have put over 150km with no issues except a sore butt. 😀 What saddle did you use in replacement.

What is the actual size of these wheels when you add the tire height as well? If you use only the rear motor, you can ride RAGBRAI w/o running out of juice for the whole day.

i dont know the brand of brakelights i can ask them though. the EMX i have with the dual 500 motors goes about 25-26mph. they told me the dual 750 motor EMX bike goes 35mph and the dual 750 road warrior goes close to 40mph.!!

Very nice review. These bikes seem to offer the most bang for the buck. Everybody else is charging more and (sometimes) offering less. These guys are just over the top with what they're offering for the price. One (important) question: What is the amperage of the charger they are supplying with this bike? If it's not robust it's going to take forever to charge. Thanks.

Hi Mike, I bet they would let you test ride one if you paid them a visit. The EMX they sent me is a great build quality. Although I haven't used their customer service I would anticipate that it would be pretty solid. It seems like a lot of thought went into this bike and the parts used, and the owner of fabulous bikes has such great enthusiasm for the bikes he's creating. With you being a local resident getting service on the bike would probably be even easier.

The tube that holds the seat post is only 8 in long. If you found a short enough seat post or cut one off, I estimate you could get the seat height down to 30 in.

Dual motor is cool...big battery is cool....less range anxiety is very cool... I am 6'1'.....need the "full-size" frame. This is nice but the frame would make me look like I was riding a circus bike.

Correction brother, install motors with wire facing towards the road NOT towards the sky. Rain will get into the motor if the wire is pointing upwards.

If you do that the axle will cut through the wires. It's very sharp. The plastic cap should keep rain out. not that I ride in the rain anyway

@@CitizenCycle925 You are both correct. The motor is more susceptible to water incursion with the cutout facing up (the cutout acts like a funnel), but the company chose to put it that way anyways. If I was their engineer, I'd use a motor with a properly oriented side cable exit that goes between the fork and the brake rotor.

You are correct the incursion should face down. But the wire is also metal and will not cut, and the cap fits through the cable and will protect against water in either direction. It was thought out.

How are these companies selling these bikes in the US when they are not legal (over 750 watts)? I love cycling and eBikes, I'm very worried about the injuries we are going to see with these high power bikes and the resulting regulations on perhaps all eBikes.

The US seems to be more concerned with speed than wattage, and as long as the top speed is regulated, then they tend to not pay attention. Yet. Fortunately, it is riding recklessly and speeding that draws attention from the police, and not how quickly you can get to 20mph. On the bright side, the injury record of e-bikes is still pretty good. Regular bicycles have 385.4 injuries per 10,000 riders, e-bikes have 0.13 injuries per 10,000 riders. E-bike riders are more likely to slow down or stop because they don't have to struggle to get going again, and e-bikes generally have better brakes and a lower center of gravity.

I was ready to write the check but i better wait. As for peddaling the himiway is not easy at all as a matter i would be calling a tow service if it broke down. They still look like a moped just quiter and probably not broken on the side of the road either :-) Like the older Harleys are dangerous especially when your pushing them when they break down alot :-o. I am suprised you haven`t got a mx looking electric bike with 72 volt battery and speeds up to 70 + mph reminds me of the Honda Elsinore. I thinks there street legal but may require a liscense. Your stable is growing by leaps n bounds. You looking for a bigger property with a large garage on it - be like Jay Leno 200 vehicles - Ha ha. I've definitely looked at some of the more powerful faster bikes but I've been trying to stick to electric bikes that look like bicycles if I want to go 70 mph I've got my motorcycles for that. I would love to have a bigger house and bigger property and bigger garage but now it doesn't seem like the right time to buy a house. as far as the eBike collection, I'm trying to thin it out, already gave away three bikes to family, and trying to sell a couple others.

I went 40 on my bike down a very steep hill on the Himiway and its faster than i ever need to go. Getting ready for some painting of the interior of the house and staining the back deck of 700 sq ft i don`t think i will ever catch up and i am retired now. Electric bikes are getting better and better - look at the magic cycle you have same price i paid and it has a 52volt battery ? anyhow enjoy doing the reviews and i will keep watching - thanks !

These white label pieces of junk, where you will get no local service are a joke. You will have a difficult time finding any reputable shop to fix it, and trying to find parts will be a massive challenge. But good freaking luck with these logo slapped on a Chinese 3rd party clone made at a shared factory in an unknown city in China.
