John, nice to hear you love the Fuji Fresh film, you can easily find her in Japan and cheaper than in Thailand I think 😍😍❤️❤️ thank you for watching friend, cheers 😍😍
@john_murch3 жыл бұрын
@@hasselbladexpert Yes, living in Japan is an advantage to buy Fuji film at a good price but not for buying Kodak film!...😏 However, maybe both Fuji and Kodak are expensive in Thailand...

hello John, I missed you yesterday ;O)) The Arcbody is a great tool but on the digital back the crop factor is too big it's no fun Best regards charlie

Hi Charly!! I'm feel great to hear you came back dear, miss you in every weekend too, Yes, I think the ArcBody shooting with film is most fun and more enjoyable, the lens perspective most attractive when its on the 6x6 not on the sensor, Yes, now in the digitize world, so some special purpose is needed the digital files, money and cost of living make me sometime have to keep my works in the drawer, ha ha, Thank you so much for stop by and say hi dear, Have a great weekend Charly! great video John, but also the 'contrast control' is this the same as the 'Program' mode on dslrs, using exp. comp, but this adjusts how the computer compensates the meter for apature, aka contrast is similar to dof, in that the shallower the iris, the greater difference in the for and back ground details, in or out of focus, and also how each is exposed for, so shadows are lit more or less, giving the contrast?
@hasselbladexpert2 жыл бұрын
Oh!! Andy!! Thank you so much for adding these important details that useful for everyone dearest friend
@andyvan56926 ай бұрын
@@hasselbladexpert yes, but I just realised, when looking up the manual, this dial is a part of the Zone mode!, aka like Ansel Adams Zone system, you set the value you will develop to (N+/-1) on the dial, and the camera meter compensates in exposure for your pre-visualisation, exposing correctly for your choice of contrast in development; BUT this dial is disregarded in ALL modes, Except Z !, and in this video you have it in M mode ;-)

great demonstration of the 205Tcc model, but if one had a choice at a store, the 500c/m; 503 FE, 205Fcc or the 205Tcc which should one go for, and who are each best for? as you have experience with most of them, which would be your choice?, and what lens to pair with them, 80 is standard, and a 'no_brainer', but which other focal length.
@hasselbladexpert2 жыл бұрын
Hi Andy, thank you so much for these great question dear, from my experienced the 500c, 500cm, 503cx, 503cxi with the 80mm or 60mm lens for the beginners, the 501c, 501cm, 503cw with the 60mm or 80mm lens for the serious users or the professional, the 202FA, 203FE, 205Tcc or 205Fcc are for the serious users or the professional photographers who most shooting outdoor with the various natures or ambient lights, the smart built in light meter is very helpful and accurate, however these are just the sample and my personal uses, I always met many pros who still use the 500cm or the 503cw with the external light meter for there jobs, Thank you again for your nice question for the others dear friend, Have a wonderful time as always, Andy

@@hasselbladexpert Thanks for the recommendations, I have gone with a 205Fcc, it was second hand with the winder, 80 2.8 F lens, prism and the E12 back, I went for it, not only for the meter, but also for the 1/2000th sec. shutter speed, as I shoot outdoors, Landscape, Architecture, seascapes, All of which experience Glare a lot, so this would help, not having to use filters all the time, and allow me to open up, not shooting in f 11/16 all the time as I shoot in Australia and in Summer, we get quite bright light (EV 15 and up), so this should help me a bit.

I think you tried to change the contrast mid-roll, but you must decide on the development and contrast for the whole roll of film (info for the lab to develop accordingly). What do you think?
@hasselbladexpert2 жыл бұрын
Hi Eszet..!! I loved your comment and your mentioned, Absolutely yes, If I change contrast in the mid roll by setting at the film back, I have to make sure that I will get the results in the frame what I want but I have may lost in other frames, yes, I must decide on and info to the lab for developing, Thank you so much for your sharing dear, If a wonderful time, John ❤️❤️
