Actually if you listen to destiny's child national anthem they can harmonize very well. Of course en vogue is superior in that regard but I respect Destiny's child because unlike TLC, swv, 702, and a lot of girls groups destiny's child could actually sing as a group and harmonize. I must also add the en vogue cover of this song is much better than Aretha Franklin's who I always felt was over-rated

I need for the new listeners to understand that there are NO additional vocal tracks in these performances to make the sound close to the record as ALL the other new groups have, including DC. I managed artist for a living. These woman are doing actual choreography and breathing in between holding the harmonies. ALL new artist after the 90s have vocal tracks and harmony tracks to assist them so their sound is consistent with the album track and they learn when to breath with extra lead vocal tracks added in the performance so they can do choreography. These women are the real deal!

I miss the Arsenio Hall late night entertainment show. He showcased & promoted black live entertainment like no other show, as a matter of fact, there wasn't no black late night entertainment talk show like the Arsenio Hall show, with the live set up and the dynamical artist showcase is surely missed now days 🌟 🌟 🌟 👍

I stayed up for Arsenio any time he announced they were going to be in and I was wide awake for this one! I suffered the next day in school, but it was worth it!! This was a group Arsenio had a special place for, and he rolled out the red carpet every time! I loved how he promoted black artists and black music!! It gave me a sense of pride every time I watched his show!! It’s sad today’s youth won’t understand that feeling with the way social media has hijacked everything and has our children blinded.

Me and My New Born watched Arsenio every weeknight at 1 AM. When you think about it, that is so late and amazing Arsenio stated on that long that late. It was the best show though.

I so miss the original En Vogue. They are iconic! And just like many of the great "girl groups", SWV, Xscape, and TLC, they are their best and can only be most successful in their original form together...not as solo artists. It's that unique chemistry that makes us love them. I would love to see them back together. Unfortunately, I think that ship has sailed.😢 It made me happy to go down memory lane though. And not to mention Arsenio Hall... I loved him and his show! I'm so thankful my mom let me stay up to watch as a child. Great times!

I saw all 4 original members circa 08/09 at a concert with Ginuwine. En Vogue was the headliners. They shut it down for 2hrs. That was easily one of the greatest performances that I've ever seen live. I wish that I had recorded it.

He said “good timing and still not enough for me” and all of us original super fans would likely agree. We couldn’t see them enough!! Tommy and Denny DID THE DAMN THING putting this multi platinum super group together. Why let one member become so disenchanted that she quits? That’s bad business. I believe Dawn had motives but the bosses could’ve quelled that shit by giving them their rightful chunk of this very lucrative pie.

Of their top 10 hits, “Hold on”, “You don’t have to worry” & “Don’t go” were Cindy & Terry; “Lies” was Dawn & Cindy with Max & Terry at the end; “Free your mind” was an even split of all 4; “Whatever” split between Cindy, Max & Terry; and “Rocket” was Terry, Cindy & Rhona. “Don’t let go” has Max & Cindy (& Terry on some versions) on bridge & ad libs with Dawn on lead. “Giving him something he can feel” was all Dawn’s, though, and she shared “My lovin” with Max. Bottom line: this was a group of four leads who all contributed immeasurably to the group’s success. End of.

I just watched an uploaded video of the Arsenio Hall Show when he had his 4th anniversary "back in the day when music was real music" and when Luther Vandross "RIP" was on there and they were touring together at that time but it was wasn't nice...I remember watching that episode. IDK but Luther allegedly had some major issues with the ladies and I just can't understand why, however when they serenaded and brought out the cake for him, he saved face but you could see the tension.

Yes, this is the one group where all could lead and did. Talent wise they were a complete group.They had no weakness. Plus they were very beautiful and classy ladies. When they were performing, everything else had to wait including my girlfriend!😂 They were so bad she didn't get mad! She was like, oh I get it!
