american horses are not bred for turf racing

Tube 4625 so why do you have turf racing then is it because the horses are not good enough. Oh your dirt tracks kill on an average of 25 young tbs week, plus you use drugs and tape their noses.

sorry Barbara Dyson that's how it is and if you want that to change you have to come to usa and attend the horse owner's conferences where all horse owners are available for questions from people like you. They don't mind the statistics you provided and will love to explain why they do what they do. They will even give you tips about their horses that are about to win a race and this might cover your travel expense and then some. Oh yes we have a little bit of turf racing so that we can beat the snotty euro horses that come here to compete in the Breeder's Cup races , lol

Winx would have been very muddy - many lengths behind these lot

Winx is brilliant in the wet and Enable is good but not better than Winx in these conditions. "Many lengths"! IFHA ratings say otherwise. Winx raced mainly between 1400 and 2000 metres and both horses therefore would not meet at the Arc distance. Your opinion is, frankly, worthless

Winx is a legendary horse but For the life of me I cannot understand why Winx didn’t travel at least once to run. You can’t just sit there and say “she doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone”. That doesn’t fly on the world scene. If she really was the greatest (which it’s arguable) I feel a victory in any race seen as a Grade/Group 1 race on her preferred distance and surface. A victory like that could put her where perhaps she does belong, we’ll never really know.

@@jlove8445 Her mission was to win 4 Cox Plates, the WFA championship of Australian turf racing. Did she achieve that goal? When will another horse match her at that level? We'll both be dead when it happens! We could ask the same question of Frankel and many others. American turf tracks are ridiculous and their drug protocols are weak.

Is there any way to view the “Beyer Speed Figures” of Winx in some way? I’d be able to tell (precisely) where she stacks up in seconds. If she’s really the best, she will have multiple Beyer Speed figures that are comparable or better to the Beyer Speed Figure of champion Mares in Europe. How about the British “Timeform” ratings that they use in England? How do her numbers precisely compare to those of horses like Goldikova, Enable, and a host of others. If her speed figures are indeed higher, I’d be willing to crown her
