What brand shimmer paint did you use? Are they all created equal?

I used Stampin Up which is retired now, but worth experimenting with what you've got. X

Have you tried rubbing alcohol instead of water? It would dry quicker on the cardstock.

Thanks for your comment. Yes rubbing alcohol is an option, but as I said tap water is free & wanted to show an equivalent to Aqua Painter which I use with water , but by all means use alcohol instead x
