Pretty card. So lovely to see old SU stamps being used. If the light spot on your glass mat is to the side of the mat, just place a piece of white paper over it then it won’t reflect .

Thank you so much 😊 unfortunately my light is above & so just gives a bright line, must admit I like using the green mat, so works all round. I’m using some of my 300+ SU collection as they have been sitting on shelves for too long. Glad you’re enjoying them too x

Quick and easy is always appreciated, and this one is beautiful. I have so many stamps I have never used, I really have to get better at pulling them out and giving them a go. I love the square backgrounds you use, I'd like to give them a try as well, though I know if the U.S. they do cost more to mail, so I may just stick with the standard size. Thank you so much 😊 interesting square cards cost more to mail in U.S. in UK they are the same. Maybe I should show them on standard cards instead. I certainly know that using retired SU sets is proving ver popular with my viewing figures, so will be doing more SU over the coming weeks x

I have gotten a lot of those water brushes, but never saw the point of using them, prefering using a real paint brush. What you did with this card makes me see their possibilities. I had an acrylic bookend that fell and broke in half at the bend. Rather than throwing it away, I took the two rather large acrylic pieces to my craft room so that I can use them for things like this. Thanks for the good idea.

I read someone mentioned to rub lip balm along each side of the ink pad to make it slide easier.

Thank you so much. Yes lio balm, vaseline, candle wax, but if you have dexterity problems the newer style are still difficult to open. The older style are so much easier, so I use them with the older colours more often than the new x

I have trouble with the new stamp pads, too. I find they leak more often than the old. So holding on to old ones

Thank you so much 😊 yes new pads are not friends for people who have dexterity or arthritis in their fingers, old pads are my favourites & just reink no problems with mould either with old pads, couldn’t agree with you more x
