How do you Install on metal flashing. As I have never seen wood underneath a roof overhang.

Can anyone tell me how to customize the color combinations? If I hit 2-6 colors, nothing changes and I can’t choose different colors to combine.

Thanks for reaching out. After selecting how many colors you want for your combination, tap your desired color for the first bulb. Then, select the second bulb in the combo and choose a color. installed my lights and had to make a cut to end a strand. I was only two lights short but i followed instructions and cut a segment making sure there was four pucks left. Placed the lights in the strand and re-plugged the controller, the added short segment will not light up. Any ideas ?

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your Eternity Lights. When you unplug the power supply from the outlet, leave it disconnected for a few seconds before plugging it in again. Also, ensure your set doesn't exceed the maximum length of 200ft. including light strands and extension cables. If your lights don't automatically register, please contact our U.S.-based consumer care at 1-800-654-8483, M-F, so we can help troubleshoot.

@ Called in yesterday and spent a good amount of time with tech support. My run was about 165 foot and my last piece cut off all but last four pucks. After sometime, we finally figured out that the controller will not accept cut strands. Once the runs exceeded 150 feet. Tech-support says that they are working on an update to the app. All and All I had a good experience with tech-support who was very helpful.

After cutting the additional lights that are not needed. Are you able to use them later?

I would need around 250 ft to cover my house. How could i do this with and without lost in brightness?

Thanks for reaching out. The maximum length for one power supply is 200ft. Plugging in a second power supply is required to cover 250ft. After 150ft., there is a slight loss in lumen output. Hi, Robert. Up to 200ft. of light strands and extension cables can be connected to one power supply. When 200ft. of light strands are connected without any extension cables, the set has 144 lights. How come after connecting every two strands they wont turn on. Unplugged and plugged back in and nothing. All apps are updated. Certified electrician and dumbfounded. Bypassed with close strands and verified strands work and this is only connecting to about 60 feet so far.

@ yes. I disconnected power supply, plugged rest of them in and held down power button on power supply and cycled through colors and they all came on.

They’re fine for basic permanent lights. The problem is the app is basic compared to Govee or Eufy . It doesn’t have the customization or as many presets as those have.

Mounting each individual light by having to first screw it in was not a good mounting option for anyone not living in a bungalow

Thanks for the feedback. Eternity Lights offer two mounting options. The double-sided tape on each mounting bracket can be used for a quick process. Govee is also a cheap lighting option that’s not going to last long. As an installer I’d recommend jelly fish or minleon if you want something professional.
