Great walk Johnny, gave us a good insite to the encampment issue. I just want to comment your statement about the wood construction at time line 32 minutes. I saw a documentary on KZbin recently entitled "the sand mifia" apparently theirs a global shortage of sand, which is of course is a major ingredient of cement. So maybe this construction site wanted to save money and spare the world of any sand useage, just guessing of course. Anyway, everyone should check out that topic, definately an eye opener.

I'm kind of appalled with anyone who talks about being inconvenienced when such an atrocity is taking place. People 'sat by' and ignored what was happening during the Holocaust. This is exactly how it happens. People complain but do nothing. Good for these faculty members and students.

I'm all for peaceful protests and in cases like this I don't see any problems if the University doesn't (it is private property after all). However *illegal* disruptive protests that harass and prevent people from going about their daily lives has no place in society IMO.

I think it's fine to criticize Israel and call for a ceasefire or whatever, but putting up a "Glory to the Martyrs" sign is pretty off putting considering what those Martyrs did on October 7th.
