The host is being very rude, childish, immature, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Why bring a guest on to your show if you are not going to allow her to speak? Much respect to Dr. Nokuzola Mndende for maintaining her stance and dignity on this show even when she was being disrespected on numerous occasions by this unprofessional host.

Too true ...the respect for elders is gone with westernization, they ask to be taught and we reject teaching them the new ways just because we are triggered. Mama has a point, in my culture a woman led the community and there are legends of women...I do not see how women were oppressed back then, the issue is the adoption of the western thought and ideals. We should address our issues based on this past reality that I believe was the best in contrast with today's world. Back when women were seers, diviners and chiefs. But I guess we are so embarrassed of our culture let's just shun it out.

That was not an interview, that was a monologue for the host, Dr. N Mndende was just there to witness the argument skills of the host.

My worry is that you can't talk about the today without dealing with the past. The sad thing is that the host had told herself before the show that she will deal with her guest hence she is not granting her guest enough time to talk.

What was the point of having a guest? Seems like the presenter only wanted her arguments to be heard. Constantly interrupting

OMG! The host is super duper rude and unprofessional. She is constantly interrupting her guest but she makes it a point to be known that she can't be interrupted. I'm all for a good debate or difference in opinions but there's a proper manner to do so.

Being educated and informed is sometimes a curse. This host went there armed and ready for a fight which is not existing. I'm truly disappointed by her, she's talking over this woman and it's useless. She's actually using twitter logic, waste of time.

I think she represented the current sentiment of a group of women and did it well. It's good to bring the elders together with the youngings so that they can correct us or teach us and we can show them as well how we're doing.

This interview was so painful to listen to because the host kept on talking over the guest. The big words are well and good but they all went to waste. I wanted to hear the guest's views but she was not given enough time to speak.

"The problem with our young people is they are not teaching us, they are forcing us." UMama is so right. I can give an example. My 90 year old black grandmother through proper conversation understands the plights of the LGBTQIA+ community, is knowledgeable, all because I 'taught' her, not forced her. I'm classed as 'liberal', but it's starts with empathy, and an intention to listen not this disrespect. I doubt that the host is well-read on the works of Dr. Mndende. Honestly, this is wasted wisdom.

Also, the assumption that Dr. Mndende isn't knowledgeable about the topics mentioned in the 'modern idiom' is an insult to her intelligence. Also, since when did an opposing view warrant a complete shutdown. People that give textbook definitions of political ideology annoy me. We know that. That's a lecture, this was meant to be a conversation.

I don't understand why people are so disrespectful to the host. She did a good job coming with counter arguments and allowing her guest to speak as well. It was a good debate where different povs were presented I don't agree with her even but I think she did well bringing up her points. THIS is how we can learn and remain open for teachings
