heyyyy so I just wanted to clarify some things about the video: some people pointed out that they misread the hashtag at 1:22 and as I can see how it could’ve been mistaken, I wanted to clarify that that is NOT what was written. I would never joke around about such a serious matter and I’m deeply sorry if that’s what it seemed like. the hashtag says Madrigal family THERAPIST Camilo, and I incorporated it into the video because of how caring he was to his mother during the scene when she was distressed. Also because he tends to be a very supportive character based on what’s seen in the movie. Thing I'm noticing about the family is that all the family members with Gifts represent at least one family stereotype. he saw a chance to spook mirabel and took it like any mischievous shapeshifting cousin would do. he knows bruno doesn't look like that all the time, especially with murals and paintings all over the encanto of the madrigals. dolores and tonito knew but camilo had no idea his tio was even still alive. to find out all of a sudden that bruno's just been living in the walls the whole time and now reunited with the family is a lot to unpack. so, yea, "....we gonna talk about bruno??" is a pretty accurate reaction, i think.

I don't understand how Antonio knowing Bruno by that point is a surprise, they met, IN THE MOVIE before this scene. They had to do the vision spell in Antonio's room, he's the one that suggested it to begin with. Of course he knows it's Bruno. Camilo just looks surprised that Bruno is suddenly there, of course he knew what Bruno looks like, there's pictures of him around that is even pointed out at the beginning of the movie.
