ENCAPSULATED MYLAR WITH FOLDED DIAMOND STYLE FACETS

Hey, guys. In today's video, we are going to be creating Encapsulated Mylar with Folded Diamond Facets! OMG! How amazing is that?
So, in order to do this we are going to be creating a Russian Almond shape and then we are going to be layer my super special foil inside to give it a classy and stylish look. After you've created the Russian Almond, you are going to get your foil and cut out a small square strip. After doing so, you will have to fold it multiple times to create an array of creases around the whole of the piece.
This is the exciting part! We are going to be encapsulating the foil inside of the nail using AcryGel to create a truly unique looking Russian Almond. You can do this with any colour of foil or acrylic powders to truly change it up and make it your own, but we've gone for a gorgeous teal and pink combination.

I love the folded foil look. I've seen some others do it with a different foil, they fold it where it looks like a faceted gemstone and then after encapsulating it they put a ring of crystals around and it looks like an embedded gem.

Nana Nita here in n. Idaho usa I love!!!! This, I purchased the kit now I love it!!! No doubt about it my issue is my vision, since I cannot see the entire nail it is setting up too soon because I can't see the whole nail all at once unfortunately especially when working on myself if I'm working on someone else I can do wonderful it's stupid I know but can I use another brand of a lower speed monomer with the Nao Nails product to help me build my nail? I know that you shouldn't be mixing the products so I'm concerned about that and I put them on crooked doesn't matter I see everything crooked when I think it's straight it's actually not it's sideways because of my vision so any suggestions from anybody Kirsty somebody I would take them I love you Kirsty love these nails

HELP...so anyone use Acrygel... I’m buying the clear that way if I don’t like it as in compared to acrylic I haven’t wasted my money because I can use it for attaching crystals ect but my question is can you add colour gel say black to make a flower? Also is it clear like normal gel ? Thank you

I've been using polygel for months on several clients. It's just an amazing product. Best of both worlds! Works like acrylic but sets like gel. You have time to perfect the shape so you have very minimal filing. Good luck 😁

I mix glitter (solvent resistant) into it. Never tried color. It's not a clear as gel, but damn close.
