Nice video! Congratulations on your cycads they are amazing plants! , Im from south africa where many of them originate from, It saddens me that woodiis have been "removed" from their natural habitat As far as I know there is 1 male left in the durban botanical gardens the rest are spread across the globe , I would be interested to see a hybridization of woodii and transvenosus(modjadji) That should also look awesome!

It's cool that you are from South Africa. As it happens, transvenosus by woodii has been done. It is possibly the fastest growing known Encephalartos hybrid. Also, when they removed the last woodii from nature, they had no way of knowing that it was even rare, let alone the last one. They didn't really intend to remove the last one.
