Kudos for even winning one game with a revised only deck against all that power along with the expanded card pool. I can definitely see Stasis being a particularly tough deck to play in Rev only format.

Great commenting Tim and sporty gameplay. That being said: that was one giant firebaaaaallll (actually 2 because of the forking action hihi) in game #1. 😱Happy to see we got to a game #3! Jehey! Congratulations Olaf.

Mana Flare works so well. Great idea to add red to the mix.

This Channel is right up nu alley. I've done a couple ASMR videos on "old school" magic on my channel. Keep up the good work Timmy! You rock.

These were some really fun games! I love games like this. Most of the people I play magic with only care for high octane, aggressive games. Whereas, I like a good bit of action and reaction. Just a note in game two, I think you could have tapped out and pointed your braingeyser at your opponent. That would've put him on nine cards and very likely made him take more than enough damage on his upkeep from your vise to take the game. Keep these amazing games coming!
@kw65625 жыл бұрын
Great games. You really need boomerangs in that stasis deck. One of the main components.
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
True, for some reason I limited myself to revised only 🤦🏼♂️
@zwc765 жыл бұрын
At @28:50, why not just braingeyser opponent for all but 1 mana and then play second black wise?

You’re right!!! 🤦🏼♂️

Wonderful decks and games. I really like your self-reflective commenting. 28:56 Did you just play a copy artifact using mana from a sol ring only?
@TimmytheSorcerer4 жыл бұрын
You're right! Just looked it back and I do untap an island and Sol Ring, but don't tap the island again when casting the copy.

Too bad you guys don't play with Mana Burn like we do here in the States, you would have won 2-0 pretty quick Timmy. Lol! Nice Vid tho, that Candleflare- Enchantress is fun to watch go off.
@mtgphil425 жыл бұрын
I never thought of splashing Red into Enchantress for all that mana, this might be a great idea even though I don't have the candelabra!
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
Candelabra was such a powerful tool in this match up. 👍

How about glyph of destruction in your wall deck! It's off color but would basically be another righteousness like effect.
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
Glyph is a fantastic card. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play the Righteousness out that often. Classic combat situations don't seem to happen that often anymore in modern OS :(

When you fork a fireball don't you need to pay the mana again that you pay into x for the new fireball ?
@TimmytheSorcerer4 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve, you can find your answer here, gatherer.wizards.com/pages/ca...tiverseid=1294 Relevant part : 10/4/2004 Forking a spell with an X in the cost requires you to use the same X value.

@@TimmytheSorcerer That's what I figured. But why did he bother to fork it when it was all just to you lol
@ralphdams75685 жыл бұрын
In game #1, did you get Mind Twisted for 3 while discarding 4 cards!? Opponent would need 5 mana for this, right?
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
I think so 😂 I must be the first player in history to voluntarily discard an extra card to a mind twist 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️

Stasis with no boomerangs? Not revised so if you're going pure revised I guess it's not "legal". Fun deck though. Love the idea of the recall disk deck. Wonder what other artifacts could be abused this way.
@Matt-dc8lp5 жыл бұрын
For recall disk deck thinking a UR deck with in addition to disk hurkles: 1. Full moxen and sol ring + hurkles recall + fireball 2. Animate artifact (disk for damage until you need to blow things up...get animate artifact back with disk with hurkles) 3. Other?
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
If I would add another colour next to blue with the recall plan it would probably be green. Using Titania's Song in combo with Manipulators and Disks. That would be fun 😀
@Matt-dc8lp5 жыл бұрын
@@TimmytheSorcerer maybe I'm missing something, but how is titania's song good? It just turns your artifacts into bland creatures.
@TimmytheSorcerer5 жыл бұрын
Exactly and they’re still artifacts so Hurkyls still works and you can start hitting your opponent with an artifact army. Just an idea and I really love the art of that card 👍
@Matt-dc8lp5 жыл бұрын
@@TimmytheSorcerer yea, but you can't use their abilities until titanias song is gone

In game 2 you could have used the braingeyser on your opponent and let hun draw like 8 cards or something you had 2 black vise in play en he was in 2 life

Absolutely, I was to focused on my own greediness. In all honesty, I'm pretty happy with this brew. It works better than expected and with some more practice and minor changes, who knows.
