Don’t worry about it. We already knew there were no captions. We’ve seen these songs with captions enough to remember what they are saying. Also, that song with ARMY is bulletproof: the eternal. The music video for that one is animated and has scenes from their other classic music videos. Also, “V looks like a sculpture”. You are way more classy than me. There wasn’t a mishap with Jimins mic. You were just hearing the backing track while he caught his breath. You can hear him come in live loudly after that first few seconds of the back track. The boys do this sometimes which I like because those little breaks where they pause shows they are really singing. Love this reaction!

yes! this is such an interesting part of live performances because the sound engineers have to create a mix that has just the right amount of backing + louder parts for breaks to breathe. it's honestly an art in it of itself. fascinating stuff!

They were singing live, but all the performances were pre-recorded. It was beautiful. If you really want your socks knocked off, you should watch their 2019 MMA performance. It's 37 minutes long, but we love long reactions. Of course, you will need a nap after to recover, but it's worth it. Longest award show performance by a group ever. It's truly live in front of a huge audience. There usually are no captions for award show clips unless an Army goes back and adds them later on. There's too much to watch to care about the lyrics anyway.

So glad that you loved this and saw a live performance of theirs! They definitely bring out their charisma, flirtiness and stage presence! Also, the mic thing with Jimin at the end wasn't a mishap, he just didn't sing in that particular moment so all you heard was the backtrack playing. The song played between on and life goes on is We are bulletfroof: the eternal. Its a song for army and the mv has a lot of references to older mv's and it tells you bts' journey and struggles. Also there are references to other songs like whailen 52. The song its beatiful but I cant watch the mv without crying xD Because all of this I think this is the song they'd have sung as encore on this tour. Anyway, watch the mv if you want, you can still enjoy it without catching the references, is up to you, but be aware of those things ;)

I don't think so. It's more likely the sound engineer messed up. In live performances like this the artist/s mic would have been muted for the dance break. They either missed the cue or toggled the wrong one.

These were prerecorded, so they had time to do costume changes and catch their breath, etc. HOWEVER, yes, they perform for 3 hours straight in a concert and it's all 100% live and they're AMAZING! All of this was pre-recorded for the award show, but they sang live while they recorded. There is usually a backing track because BTS sings/records all of their backing harmonies that are then played during live performances. There are certain words/adlibs/harmonies that are always played that allows the guys to take a breath while dancing and singing live. That song was Bulletproof: The Eternal and yes, it was written specifically for ARMY. Before you watch the MV, I suggest you react to a LOT more of their MVs since the MV for BTE goes through their career and will mean a lot more if you seen what it's referencing. :) Also... they have well over 200 songs... there are A LOT you haven't reacted to yet. :p Nothing happened to Jimin's mic, he just didn't sing his first line so what you heard was RM's low harmonies on the backing track... just more proof that they were singing live. :)

Them walking off the stage before ON's performance is a sort of a reference to their NO music video back in 2014!! NO is about fighting against the harsh Korean Educational system and the high expectations from parents and adults. ON is about fighting bigger life issues as an adult!! I'm so glad you have such a discerning ear. A lot of times reactors who aren't familiar with music or live performances either think BTS is lipsyncing or think there's zero backing track, like it has to be all or nothing. When reality is almost always somewhere in the middle and it all comes down to the sound mixing and the technicians getting the right balance for full vocals but still letting us hear the live vocals. I appreciate how you pointed that out.

When I first started listening to BTS I thought RM was my bias because he stood out to me most, but then over a couple months j-hope really started to stand out and then I realized I was always looking for or waiting for his parts in performances in songs. Basically, now j-hope has come full force as my bias even though I’m always getting wrecked by RM lol. Really though, I love them all for many reasons. Glad you reacted to this performance! Yes I feel you!! When I first reacted to them JK caught my attention immediately followed by Jimin (my angel ☺️) and I was sure they were my favs at the moment but the more I react to them the more I realize that the whole group is extremely handsome and talented and it’s become harder to pick a favorite! Caitlin, all the performance was live but recorded in different time. These day they cant perform offline like use to be. Buut, actually they can do that in previous concerts or any performance. What i want to say is... Their concert were always more than 2 hours!!! And there were only them performed. Can you imagine? 😎😎😎 and from the other ARMY it was really really very amaziing time. The last performance live before covid was in USA. They performed black swan and On on the late late show. If you want to reacted on that, be carefull because of copyright.
