Hello, 0:18 is where I say that I’m not diving deep into these songs lyrical and production wise because I’ll be doing that in the album reaction. There were no lyrics for Dope. At least not the video I watched on the HYBE channel. I’ll be diving deeper into both songs as stated.

I was confused that there were no lyrics when I could clearly remember watching the MV with them. BTS, more like BigHit, used to upload their videos on 1theK channel and all of the MVs on it have subtitles.

Fire is the song that transformed Kim Seokjin into confident Jin. He felt the concepts before didn't fit him as a person. When fire came he basically evolved into the man we see today. Blond Jin is one to never be forgotten!

Fire might be my MOST favorite track of theirs when performed live. And it's a tough competition but the energy is alway unmatched as it's never first of a bunch and they are always DRENCHED and there are sometimes extra choruses in the end. I wish I could experience it live on concert. T_T

Not to say they are not great without but tell me Dionysus live and I will think of 2019 same as Idol 2018. While the thought of Fire live creates a mix of different stages, different moments but all on the same level of intensity. It might be just my perception of course!

I love Suga. I love when he raps. I love when he sings. I love when he plays piano. I love when he dances. I dont know if he still feels that way, but it was once said the he didn't like dancing. It is a shame because he does it so well. I also love his voice when he speaks English. Maybe hearing him speak my native language helps me to really just concentrate on is voice, but it's so lovely. OK, maybe I just love Suga, AgustD, Min Yoongi.

i love what the boys did with dope, because since they got so much backlash and faced many allegations of plagiarism with the school boy / school life theme (while in reality it was just a popular theme at the time and their comebacks happened to overlap with other groups who also had a similar concept), now they have all 7 members in 7 different outfits/costumes, with each their own theme and concept, they're just kinda being like ''good luck trying to accuse us again''. can't wait for you to deep dive into the lyrics !

I don't know how but I remember that some people manage to relate their DOPE outfits with the BU. It was something like: Jin is a doctor because he has to save everyone. This hit me right in the nostalgia- the ‘Fire’ MV was the first BTS anything I ever saw/heard (and the first Kpop I ever heard aside from ‘Gangnam Style’ a few years prior) and I knew I was in trouble when RM came in with his rap verse. This one was so fun to watch. It felt like I was experiencing the chaos and adrenaline of the songs for the first time again. And every fire and explosion in "Fire" was real, minus the airplane on fire because that... would be a problem. Their reaction to the car dropping was authentic, too. As for the TXT thing, I've been getting vibes from their current comeback that remind me of BTS' HYYH era. Like... an almost chaotic freedom, but also depression. Dunno if that's what you might be getting from the song? But it's like TXT looked at HYYH and was like "could be more emo" and we love to see it.
