Did you ever think Amira would change your life so much? Its just so beautiful, to listen over and over and still get chills. From your first encounter with Amira to this. My friend you've got some catching up to do on this incredible young lady. She is now eighteen and in my opinion spectacular. Got to be the most beautiful voice out there. Love your reaction no reason to be ashamed of a few tears. She does this to most people it's unavoidable. No matter how many times I listen and I tell myself not to get emotional I still tear up. Her voice is so beautiful, and she is so young too! A lot of sopranos can't hit those high notes and hold them that long! Some sound screechey, but she does not! Some fans wanted her to duet with @JonathanAntoine , but they have not yet! Both have awesome solo careers right now! Hope you can review one of his newer songs maybe from his 'ChristmasLand Platinum Edition' Album' & DVD! Beautiful hymns & songs selected! You can hear some singles on KZbin videos! I know you loved his version of 'Unchained Melody' & 'The Prayer'! His solo of 'The Prayer' is amazing as he harmonizes with his own voice! You would love his KZbin song 'Compass' and video too as the lyrics say that you are not alone! I know he was on your list to review so please enjoy! Thank You! This beautiful aria with music by Ennio Morricone from the film “The Mission,” and lyrics added by Chiara Ferraù is about an imaginary world of peace and harmony. I presume the implication is that this is the fantasy of the missionary which provokes enormous irony. The “mission” of the missionary is to persuade the indigenous people to abandon their cultural traditions and superstitions in favor of the missionary’s culture and superstitions. Europeans generally regarded indigenous peoples to be “savages” in need of “salvation.” So the fantasy is presumably about a world of European culture and superstition, rather than of any sort of diversity or inclusion.

Ennio Morricone wrote this music and Sarah Brightman wrote the words and sang and recorded the original. The last note in Amira`s performance was trance scribed up to C6 (high C). Brightman, is a Mezzo Soprano. Amira is a Lyric Soprano.

While Sarah didn't actually write the lyrics, it was her that eventually wore down Morricone's restance to having lyrics added to his piece by repeatedly writing him about it until he finally gave in ( probably to stop the constant pestering).I would think he must have been very pleased w/ the results. -- they really did justice to h is beautiful composition.
