Welcome to the instructional video for the Burley Encore
Out of the box, the Encore arrives in its folded position.
To assemble the encore, start by removing the contents.
First install the tow bar clamps, which double as wheel guards. Match the wheel guard hole to the hole in the tow bar receiver, and insert the bolt from the top. Be sure to tighten the nut securely using the provided hex key and a 10mm wrench.
Next install the wheels. They will lock in and out of place by using the "PUSH" button in the middle of each wheel.
To lock the frame into place, reach in through the back, grab the aluminum frame and pull it towards you. Then, using two hands, snap it firmly into place.
The tow bar and stroller kit accessories are attached with the tow bar clamp. First open the clamp by pressing the metal buttons on the end and pulling outwards. Then slide in the chosen accessory, and lock into place.
When installing the tow bar for use with a bicycle, always lock the towbar into place with the locking pin, by lining up the holes at the rear of the tow bar and the clamp. Press the safety pin down through these holes and lock the pin into place.
To adjust the handlebar, unlock it by pulling the tab, adjust the bar to the desired position, and lock it back in place.
To fold the Encore, remove the wheels and towbar and place them inside the trailer. The frame will unlock by pressing upwards on both red buttons simultaneously. The encore is now ready for storage.
To convert the Encore to a cargo carrier, lower the child the seat by releasing the 4 four clips. The Encore can safely carry 100 lbs of cargo. Replace the four clips to return to child mode when needed.
To load children, lift the cover all the way up, and then lower the foot barrier to make it easier for them to get in. The windscreen can be rolled and secured at the top, and the sunscreen can be tucked into the cover to allow more sunlight.
