Mark Heathcliff has a lovely chat with his friend, but secretly an alternate, Cesar Torres. They are joined by Adam Murray and Jonah Marshall, all characters from the Mandela Catalogue. These two are also part of the Bythorne Paranormal Society, or BPS for short. The reason they are able to call Mark and Cesar is because these remixes do not follow the canon timeline of The Mandela Catalogue, but instead an alternate (haha) timeline. Who knows what could happen next time?...

I think if Cesar survived, it would’ve been an even darker story, from the sounds of it, the call still happened, but Cesar wasn’t an alternate. HOWEVER. That means Mark still came over. Or attempted to, but was intercepted by the alternate, getting him killed. Which means that Mark’s death is Cesar’s fault, and now Cesar is being hunted by the creature that killed Mark, and assumingely being tortured and taunted about Mark’s death being his fault.

I like to think how we got here is that mark held his belief too strongly and gave in to Gabriel’s influence, allowing N to easily attack him with a false sense security, something like “I am the messenger of your god.” “Your pleas have been heard, we shall purge this evil.” Using “evil” as a replacement for human life. Ceasar was able to fend of Ns initial attack on his mother and he drivesmy her to the ER for real this time. He hits up Mark and tells the whole situation, unknowingly revealing his plan to the alternate. They agree to “meet up” and that’s when this whole shebang starts and ends
