There's always room to grow. I was waiting for one of the points to hit me and I was checking each one off and saying "Man I've been like this for years now, I don't feel any growth" and then when you got to the 5th one I had to stop and really look at myself. That initial thought itself is rooted in negativity. Doing all these things and not seeing any results, feeling negative because nothing is going your way. To the rest of the world, I still carry myself with grace and kindness. I have no reason to be angry with the rest of the world or God for things not going my way. But with myself it's almost non existent. The ability to be graceful and kind to myself when I fall short of what I expect of myself and being thankful that I have room to grow in these trials is such a huge paradigm shift. Thank you Sir.

This was very good. I just read this verse yesterday: For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.. Philippians 1:29 I wasn’t looking at my trials as suffering for Christ. Of course not talking about suffering for doing something sinful but suffering for trying to stay on the narrow road. (I suppose I didn’t realize the suffering that came with. Even family members putting themselves against me.) But it should be an honor to suffer for Him. He did for me. Numbers 4 & 5 on the list, I think I’ve struggled with the most this year but I’m learning. Very good teaching.. thank you. 🙏

Being taught to remember that the most important thing is knowing how to love God in this way. If I don't see anything else good happening, I'm thankful just for His presence and knowing He's there with me, loving me.
