Love your sermons David, however there are some scriptures that contradict that Jesus was or is God….these are the scriptures and understanding I’m getting… please, if u can, help sum this up,for we know scripture is Truth. But I am open as a brother to hear your thoughts on it….Like u say, eat the watermelon, spit out the seeds,We’re on the same team….. Jesus is The SON of God John14:28 Holy Scriptures does not explicitly state that Jesus is not God, but it does present him as subordinate to God the Father. Here are a few examples of verses that support this view: * John 14:28: "You heard that I told you, 'I am going away and coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am." * 1 Corinthians 11:3: "But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is man, and the head of Christ is God." * 1 Corinthians 15:27, 28: "For he [God] has subjected everything under his feet. But when he says that 'everything has been subjected,' it is evident that this does not include the one who subjected all things to him. But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone." These verses, along with others in the scriptures , emphasize the distinct roles of the Father and the Son, with the Father being the supreme authority. Key Note-However, from my own studies..scripture Does also highlights Jesus' divine nature and his role in God's plan of salvation, as being the Only Begotten Son in which has been given Authority over the Sons of Man by The Father. But I’m with an open mind, family is all Jehovah Witness, but I feel wat u say is in alignment with God!

Ive encountered teaching along these lines too from a very respected teacher and can see why the opinion is held. But...there are also many scriptures which state explicitly that Jesus is God - John 1:1, In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God. John 8:58 "Before Abraham was, I Am​". Jesus voluntarily laid his life down and submitted to the Father even though He is God and equal to God (Phil 2:6-8). Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Oh my gosh! GOD comes thru with your teaching in this for me! My motive has been tested! Its impure! He showed me thru something like speaking in tongues where after being filled with 29:48 the HOLY SPIRIT for 2 weeks and sold out going here and there sharing the gospel which was absolutely wonderful seeing and knowing what i did not know…. I hit the wall…. I couldnt do it anymore…. I dont know if a dream or a vision but i was in the palm of GOD like a little child coiled up in a fetal positioned with my hand in a fist….. the next day i thought have i turned from the plow…. Im working and out of my spirit in my belly up thru and out my mouth these words…. I want my works to count for something…. Not my words…. They came from my spirit…. I said GOD forbid that my works should count….. then tossed over this odd experience and about 20 min later it happened again ….. out of my spirit…. Out of my belly area then out of my mouth…. I want credit for the love, joy, and peace that i had known the 2 weeks prior….. i just stopped and thought GOD what is going on here? He said to me “jim i love you!” And i replied i know you do! You gave your son for me! …… knew the words….. but didnt really know what being loved ment and didnt really know that i didnt know that i didnt know….. he has said go and share my love with others…. I did not respond well…. What my love doesnt count….. hurt people hurt people…. I couldnt take it back…. I didnt know it….. there is blessing in sharing his love with others…. The HOLY SPIRIT is there…. And im blessed….. another time blessed and believed his love for me and filled for 2 weeks again and the HS revealing so much just so blessed then put to the test about my life prior to the last 2 weeks and i was bitter and lost the HS and struggled to get back in fellowship and could touch on it but not maintain it….. frustrated i went to water my fruit trees… a cold winter morning but was sunny and they hadnt been watered in quite a while… 100’ hose coiled up and got like 20 or more kinks and had to remove them in order to water it took about 10 or 15 min it seemed but couldnt water until i did then i was able and the HS surprised me with … this is what i have to do with you! I have kinks….. the HS does not and cannot remove them all at once….. i can be lifted up in pride…. This is unproductive …. He is addressing lies i have been led to believe all my life! Lies about myself, about others, about GOD! I have despised humble beginning’s but told not to….. bitter resentment not having known being loved more…. Just comes and what can i say…. Wish it wasnt true and wish my response thats shameful wasnt and didnt come…. Surprised by it and try to fix but no fix…. But know a fix beyond my shameful self…. I am loved! Says go and share my love with others…. This is where i say what my love doesnt count…. Surprised by my response…. My shameful response….. damm im a mess…. My love if i have any soooo feeble….. good thing he loves me…… the HS shows me the beauty of childrens play and laughter…. Encourages me! I am loved…. I can breath …. He sends people that love him and i can breath…. I share his love and i can breath…. I draw near and he does…. He is faithful!!!!!! He loves me his creation and get a bigger picture….. now an even bigger picture with david’s message here! Share his love with others…. Silly me is to free me! Not for me to be denied…… so deep, so dark the pit of deception that i have known….. a child left to himself will be a fool….. the way of a fool is hard….. however GOD…….. but GOD …… has chosen the foolish of this world to confound the wise! David thank you for this sermon it undoes another kink…. You know after the HS said that 3 years later i was depressed that my children hadnt in my opinion any closer to believing on christ…. Went to bed a couple of hours early and seen that my daughter had messed with my alarm clock so had to make sure my alarm would work so i turned on the radio to make sure on my christian station…it was and jim toll from church on the way (many years ago ) says its as if theres a hose with kinks in it and just know that GOD will get those kinks out! Thats all from Wednesday nights service from church on the way!….. im like how does he do that!!!! Why dont i trust him completely????? He is certainly worthy of my complete trust! But i need help…..obviously…… it hasnt been so obvious to me…. Some thru the water…. Much loved….. in this world ….. some thru the fire….. not as much loved….. in this world! Just unfamiliar… didnt know what was not there to know….. pain like from a phantom limb…. But like in the song…. Thru the clouds i see love shine….seems like love has finally found me…. I want to know what love is! I know you can show me! I want to feel what love is i know you can show me! I have been soooooo wrong about GOD! Many, many misconceptions about GOD and thanks to the HOLY SPIRITS great undeserved kindness to me…. Davids sharing this message a continuance of that really helps make clear, get a behind the scenes or inner working of GOD’s way which is certainly not my way…. Where have i heard that before…. Mysterious ways…. Love you david! Love his ministry thru you! HOLY SPIRIT with skin on….. FAITHFUL!!!!! Im saving this one! Thank you so much! I know your blessed in his service! Please pray for me! Soooo feeble in myself…. But perhaps and am in times strong in him! Seen a video of a young boy telling his mother that he seen jesus and his eyes are the most beautiful things in the world….
